Ousman traore commits

We desperately needed depth along the OL. It is out biggest potential weakness. Huge kudos to the staff for landing a kid that can contribute right away.

Unlike Kennedy or Brown. I don’t think we’ll have a problem with this kid’s strength. He looks plenty tough. May be a little stiff to be a starter at a high level, needs a lot of coaching in terms of feet. But the potential is there.

No. But recruiting is about perception and strategy.
Our head coach trying to use social media to build excitement and here comes a dude, who people on here are defending, not only pouring water on it but also stealing a kids moment.

It’s not the first time he’s done it. Dee even said he’s spoken to him about it twice already.

Nah we definitely need guards as well. And in a pinch this kid could be the 4th or 5th guard this year and I like him moving forward.

Although they weren't world beaters, Mahoney and Boulware ( or at least one of them) would have helped for depth this year.

Personally I'm not going off on anyone. I dont know this kid and have no clue who he is let alone if hes any good. However I understand well the commitment this kid had to make to reach this level. Anyone who works that hard for something,who is one step closer to reaching his dreams shouldnt have anyone period let alone a reporter take his announcement on his terms away from him. I'm sorry bit there is no defense for this. He got mad at me cause I let him interview my nephew two weeks after he silently committed to us. Nephew told him the schools he wanted to visit and when he found out about the silent when it was made public he got hot with me. I tested out how he is once through a friend and next thing you know hes hinting at a commit and putting out crystal balls... I'm sorry but u dont do that to a kid who's worked this hard.
 
So, lots of Judgment Day type debate on Ivins professional ethics/morals in announcing this kid's intentions and some stuff about committing criminal acts with the kid's thunder....

Is anyone sure that Traore has social media...?

I may not be a The Twitter maven...But, I know if I copy/pasta Ousman Traore into the search box....His profile should come up...Which, I did and just got a bunch of empty profiles and one private account....

I can always help the kid out if necessary. I have a MySpace account with 7 followers and would be more than happy to give him my platform to break his big news to a handful of kids I went to nursery school with.....
 
For those that think he’s a G all the way are just dumb. U think staff not bringing him to also try at T? He is going to compete at both positions.
Btw expect 1 olinemen or 2 to transfer soon.

I agree. I was defending Ivins. He wouldn't intentionally try to take the kid's moment. IDK how long his post was up but I don't think many people saw it. It wasn't even mentioned on their site.
 
We need depth. Kennedy sucks. I think it’s a good pick up to see if this kid can play Tackle, if not, then try him at Guard.
 
I'm sure there will be more nutrition once camp opens back up so space is not an issue.
He started as a freshman in Juco, I believe he has 3 years to play.
