Thanks for sharing. What an amazing experience for an amazing kid. Best wishes to him and your family.

Great to see the coaching staff get something right. Very touching story and I hope this experience gives Carter the strength he needs to come out a healthy Cane when he gets out of surgery. Many prayers and the best of wishes to you and your family. This is an eye opener to all off us, as angry as we all may be at least a lot of us have our health. Lets not take that for granted because little Carter still believes in the Canes so why can't we? Everything in the end will get worked out whether it be with this staff or a new one I hope your boy gets to witness a Miami Hurricanes National Championship.

Man, I want Golden gone but I'd rather that your son get to see some UM victories. That's an awesome experience, just reminds me of what it was like to be a little kid whose first love was UM football.

Beautiful post dhucks. Your son looks to have plenty of spirit to spare so I have no doubt he'll sail right through everything. Wishing you many years to come of rooting on the Canes with your son.

Amazing stuff man! That was the best thing I've ever seen posted here. Carter must have been having so much fun.

Tell me about your son's reactions to all this. I'm sure that was incredibly touching to you and your wife to see your son experiencing all of that. I used to volunteer for make a wish here in Orlando and I know how special it is to see all of those kids faces light up with joy.

I wish Carter and your family all the best. God bless.

PS. I emailed Lindy and told her what an amazing job she is doing.

People can be awesome! Best to you and your family now and in the future. Glad your family got to have this experience together.

And props to UM & Make a Wish for making it happen. UFamily!!
