Lol, and when do you think that will happen? I'm here to tell you that not even his death will stop people from talking about how he would "kill it" at Miami. Until the end of time, and probably 5 minutes more, the BBB brigade will soldier on.

Yeah, he had serious studs on that team. He was building something big there and then the NCAA hit.

* 1st rounders into the NFL than Howard, JJ and Erickson combined...
* kids into Canton combined (when all is said and done)
* Was JJ's lead recruiter from 84-88, and JJ will tell you himself that Butch was the best...I don't think people realize on the kids Butch locked up for UM from 84-88....you'd be Astounded...

I’ll take your word for it cause your closer to facts but JJ did it at both CFB and NFL levels and I guess I base JJ more with what he did at the NFL level..either way if love to have Butch back as an analyst cause he gives us someone no one else can equal in todays game when it comes to evals

You probably think Tom Osborne could get Nebraska back to it’s glory days too.

Try letting this sink in. Butch has nothing to do with anything recent or relevant to this program. He was great and everyone hated seeing him go.

But his shelf life expired a long time ago and he’s not that guy anymore.

That’s it. Nothing more or less.
