We simply talk about Butch “POSSIBLY” becoming an analyst here, and ppl wanna talk about him getting fired from UNC, and FIU although he MURDERED OUR A$$ AT FIU IN SOME ADIDAS MIAMI NIGHTS UNIS AT THE OLD ORANGE BOWL! (Sorry I digressed on that, back to script)….like the guy didn’t save our program & assemble the greatest CFB ever? Like he didn’t get robbed of a NC in 2000.

But these r the same fans that said they wanted to keep Diaz for another yr, & didn’t want Mario b/c of what he did at FI-F’ing U; not at UO. Lol. Let’s just disregard him winning his division in a P5 conference 3 of his 4 yrs as coach; naw blood, they wanted Diaz another yr over a a proven Coach, holding his stint at one of the worst FBS programs in the nation against him. Lol. Bizzaro fans, bro.

Bruh, they are brainless fans. They defend their program to the death if it is a dumpster fire and will have unrealistic expectations the second the program shows some life. There will be multiple 'We want Bama' posts next year in October when Mario has us undefeated.

They are waiting for Mario to lose one **** game and it will happen he will lose a few cause of Manny hold overs. They are licking their chops.

And assuming PSU d does well that will be their go to guy. If PSU recruited well at DT I'm sure they will look good but as soon as they play someone like OSU it's over.

Butch should of held a sign that said fire Blake James and Manny Diaz. He should of also had a sign that said u should of hired me instead of Richt. I can't wait for the excuses that Manny couldn't win cause of Blake Bs. It was Blake all along

Yeah man, like I give the old guys props for sticking through the program in the dark times, but man things have changed too much in the past 20 years to apply the some concepts and style that Butch had today.
I think it's hard understand for the grey beards the society nowadays and kids focus and the distractions.

I also think that the U, loses a bit of lustre cause everyone's dad, or role model is a fan of the U and some kids just rebel just to rebel, that's why when we were teens we played music our parents hated etc.

I think he gets a tempered respect. Came with his one back. Used the talent he was gifted well. Got two rings for us (big big). I am personally appreciative of that as I was there (drink a lot but present).

He was a poorly spoken coach. Didn’t recruit well. Left for the NFL. Rut roh stuff followed.

But two rings.
