Are we friends again? You say that but based on your posts you’re not capable of either
Anyone still willing to talk about Miami after being this bad for this long has my respectAre we friends again?
I'm a diehard Miami hurricanes fan! Not a richt, Diaz, golden or Mario fan. Even though Im a Mario fan because he's the coach. I didn't like how he left us for bama when golden was trying to pair him with coley!Anyone still willing to talk about Miami after being this bad for this long has my respect
I don’t know enough about the situation with him and Golden to comment about itI'm a diehard Miami hurricanes fan! Not a richt, Diaz, golden or Mario fan. Even though Im a Mario fan because he's the coach. I didn't like how he left us for bama when golden was trying to pair him with coley!
Please tell me you aren’t bragging about “putting it to Rutgers”…
I know nothing about this kid, not knocking the pick up, but you are making me feel Big East old talking about beating big bad Rotgut for a kid. How is Temple holding up?
Schiano could always recruitRut
Rutgers has a better class than us currently.
They doing good this cycle
And how did we finish last year when people said the same thing?Schiano could always recruit
Yes and they didn’t offer Campbell or Wilkerson eitherWiscy, Iowa and ND are 3 of the best OL developmental schools. No?
Yeah and i dont give a $h!t. Literally don't. I point that out because they eval their own as well and they take players who others are not after either.Yes and they didn’t offer Campbell or Wilkerson either
Lew was only a 3-star bc he was a center. They are routinely undervalued in the rankings bc the best OL on most HS teams play tackle.Connor Lew was a 3 star until a couple weeks before he signed.
I wish we had that project now.

Yall dont seem to see whats going on. Miami evaluates these players and gets on them first, then these other schools start recruiting them. And im not talking about players like Francis and Samson who everyone recruited.
Connor Lew, Miami gets on him, Auburn jumps in late, he goes there
Last Cycle, we jump on Ionata, Bama offers him months and months later he goes there.
When we offered them man was on here crying about stars, the. those schools offers, suddenly the crying stops. I know them 2 probably wish they offered Anez Cooper. Who is from their backyard.
The way yall talk about other schools being on a player being the seal of approval, is the way other schools talk about Miami when it comes to OL recruits.
And even other positions. We got on Bobby Pruitt Bama tried to get on him late, from their state
Which Maugoia/Samson level prospects are we missing on this cycle ? Making sound like we're striking out on generational prospects and settling for scrapsRealize there are some diamonds in the rough out there, and Mirabal/ Mario are great evaluators of talent.
But can you build championship OL with lowly rated 3 stars with offers from Nowhere U?
We now have 3 lowly rated projects committed in OL.
Be honest would you rather have:
Mauguai or Campbell
Okunlola or Wilkerson
Staff is settling for inferior players because they cannot land the stud OL this cycle, which is ok you can’t win them all.Let’s not delude ourselves into thinking these guys will be great in college
BTW Pruitt was 3 star with offers from:
Bama UF LSU ND Tx A and M Penn State among many others
Of all those schools, only Texas A&M offered before Miami did. Bama and Auburn in their own state, and the other 4 u mentioned all offered after Miami did. Ill address the rest of your post in a seperate general postRealize there are some diamonds in the rough out there, and Mirabal/ Mario are great evaluators of talent.

Not sure any of those 3 had any initial interest. And 3 highly rated linemen is a small national pool. The staff will keep chipping away at Thomas & it seems we're in good position for SJ + Max Buchanon. Everyone needs to chill and let the staff do their thing. There are many
David Sanders 5 star stud OT 6’6” 275
Utu 5 star stud OT 6’6” from Bishop Gorman
Fasusi 5 star OT 6’6” 301 from Texas
These are the top 3 OT in the country, period.
We have never even been in the conversation to land any of these guys
Then there is Solomon Thomas( we are in it)
And SJ whatever his last name from Vegas whom we are also involved with
These people are weird bro. 2 full cycles and they act like they dont know the procedure. The staff secures their eval pick ups first. Players with high upside, not back up plans but ones they did their home work on. Then they can focus on going after the ones who its gonna be real battles with UGA, Ohio, Bama and all the big names for.Not sure any of those 3 had any initial interest. Let’s take a look at the high school composite rankings for the first round lineman this past nfl draft:Realize there are some diamonds in the rough out there, and Mirabal/ Mario are great evaluators of talent.

Wilkerson is 6’6” 330 going into his senior year of high school. But you’d rather have the guy that weighs 275 just because of his 5 star ranking. That makes senseThere are many
David Sanders 5 star stud OT 6’6” 275
Utu 5 star stud OT 6’6” from Bishop Gorman
Fasusi 5 star OT 6’6” 301 from Texas

I made a whole post about this. 24 OL taken in the top 100 picks. 14 were 3 stars, 3 were 5 stars, 7 were 4 stars. 3 were totally unranked.Let’s take a look at the high school composite rankings for the first round lineman this past nfl draft:
Joe Alt: 400th ranked composite player
Latham: 3
Olu: 401
Fuaga: 1608
Fautanu: 367
Mims: 8
Morgan: 1587
Barton: 671
Guyton: 902
I see a lot of “inferior” players on this list lol. The guys we’re getting have legit size and athleticism. Or we can go back to what Manny did and grab all the undersized 4 stars from South Florida
