OT: EA Sports College Football game

In this sc of the play art menu, they have Texas with a 4-2-5 formation and also a nickel formation as different formations. In the past, the 4-2-5 would be under the nickel category. I wonder what’s the difference now. I also don’t remember an over or any front specific defense for the nickel formation so that seems to be new.

Having trouble choosing your Dynasty Team?

Homefield has a fun promotion just for you!

I just can't get into the Ultimate team ****. If there was a way to use the legends you earn in Ultimate Team (for example Sean Taylor) into your dynasty mode, then that's the only way I would consider it.

Otherwise it seems dumb to me.
I don’t get it either. It’s just a bunch of people spending real world money to build a team full of super players to play against other people doing the same thing. I understand why EA and others do it though because it’s a cash cow apparently.

They changed it this year, packs are available via coins and if you have EA play you get free packs every month. I only pay for certain packs in madden as is, but I'm just excited to see what they have up their sleeves as the Ultimate Team in 14 didn't get a chance to take off...I'm excited to see what it's like with Cam Ward and old school Miami guys like Andre and Michael Irvin in a playbook like Chip Kelly at Oregon would feel like I'll dabble, but mostly just dynasty mode

work in progress build talk is always BS thats the game its done....so thats company CAP talk. This is the game lol
My post was not in regards to actual game but how they uploaded.. ea uploaded on YouTube like rookies, so it looks choppy compared to an actual YouTuber who understands because it's probably his livelihood now

Oh it was just a random thought I spouted off when I started watching the video.....because they and 95% of game trailers they say this "its not done its an early build" and its actually the final build. Gamers been falling for that **** for ages.

It’s a pretty fun game mode tbh, you can have an all star team without spending money. Just by doing challenges.
Some spend money to bypass all that and while I ain’t doing it, I can understand why.
Playing with legends from different teams over different eras all on one team is fun af.

I used a 4-2-5/3-3-5 multiple playbook on NCAA 14. The 4-2-5/3-3-5 was NEVER under the nickel category.
In the nickel, it had the regular nickel, nickel with the SS as the nickel, the 3-3-5 with a slot CB, the 3-3-5 SAM with the SAM as a DE and a slot CB in the nickel, the 2-4-5 and the 1-5-5 (that BEAR blitz wins 95% of the time).
