But your point is well made.

Unlikely/very unlikely is better phrasing perhaps.

While this season was a step forward in what could be, it just shows how our Miami Hurricanes continue to remain mired in sub par mediocrity.

The D staff should all be fired. Players fighting with each other on the sideline last night? Another embarrassment along with Cam standing there all suited up during the second half. Who made the field goal decision? In all my years of watching Canes football this comes down to one of the worst ever. Total clown show.🤡🤡🤡

  • There is no way the university will ever lay out as much money as they have for Cristobal
  • If he cannot do it, it will not be done
I love the Canes but let’s face it. We ain’t getting any better than this year. I would love to win it all but just do not see it happening. 10 wins is our ceiling. 9-3,8-4 is just where we will be.

FWIW, the schedule wasn’t THAT weak this season. Out of conference schedule is obviously harder next season and there are some tough road matchups. But we play fewer .500 or better ACC teams than we did this season.

What money from UM are you talking about ? Cristobal’s salary?

Most of the NIL money came from NIL collectives, not UM itself.

I really can't believe Mario just fielded a defense that couldn't even lineup pre snap. The defense literally doesn't know where to lineup or what to do. Not sure I have ever witnessed something like that for an entire season.
 
Give Al Golden the resources that Corchibal has today and he NEVER loses more than 3 games a season. I am not a Golden apologist, but lets face facts. The man could identify talent. His Achillies was his loyalty to No D.

If Al Golden is the Miami coach today, he wins the ACC this year, is undefeated and looking at a 10+ win season next year...

they should have put cam in warm ups. same w Martinez when he went out and George. keeping them. in uni was a bad look overall

his biggest advantage was recruiting. this years class was an eye opener. ti could be a fluke though well see, but if it isnt, there isnt a reason to keep him around. we can get 15-20 classes with anyone back there tbh.
 
He can win, maybe. But only if the University gives him the financial support to hire a top 5 staff and boosters give him enough to put together a talented roster. He will need staff and players better than anyone else. He won’t win without the best team.

This I agree with.....
Why let us in either Superconference when keeping us out makes the state of Florida that much easier to cherry pic... The top talent will go to the Power 2 and everyone else gets the scraps....
Florida State thought they could jump and as we've found out they never had a place to land....
Yes there's the GOR issues as well and that's been talked about over and over ...
I just don't see us going anywhere and that's gonna hurt us more and more as time rolls on...
