Honestly, forget about the Natty. I don't see him competing for the ACC. He is a clown when it comes to preparation and in game management. He is a more expensive version of Manny Diaz. Dude has the same winning percentage as Diaz after three years and is WORSE than Al Golden. Everyone on this message board think about that for a moment... we are going NOWHERE with him. Accept this.

I’m with you. There isn’t any possibility that the next HC to win a natty at Miami is Mario Cristobal.

I've been saying for weeks Mario is no better, and probably worse, than Manny and Golden and was crucified. Manny didn't have the resources Mario has, and Golden inherited an absolute **** show with the Shapiro investigation and probation/sanctions. But Mario said the culture was bad and he needed to fix it, and many people bought his lies hook, line and sinker lol

Not a pro-Manny statement or wanting him back, but it's a fair statement regarding improving our program.

What culture is he fixing? You had guys on defense fighting each other in the middle of the game..SMH.

I really thought Mario would turn things around, but I think you are absolutely correct in that we will NEVER win a Natty with Mario as the head coach.

The most depressing thing of it all is that for 30yrs Miami had financial restrictions.

Mario is gonna set the school back 15+ years before they consider taking another financial swing at being a top 10 program again

Mario will never be in the CFP unless it expands to 16+ teams.

He is guaranteed to lose at least 2 games a year. At least one of those games will be against teams that he has absolutely no business losing to.

He would've been 10-2 with the 2001 team...
 
It’s all a business. Never forget it. From the BOT, to coaches, down to the media and every outlet that benefits from the success of the program. Once you understand that, it helps not get as attached emotionally to the product (or outcome on the field). Because then you won’t eat the **** that you’re fed every offseason. That’s the good thing about the portal - people give a lot less of a **** about high school kids ruining a day out of your year. 😂

I'm done stressing.

We done for the U into history books for us to remember. Never again, just be glad we remember and were a part of it.

Get them glory years back on College Football 25 on PS5 and XBOX, I know we can win Nattys on a video game.
