I wouldn't go that far. This is a game. Just like any other this season. This is about a 6-6 type team. I'm not sure why this game would make anyone get too down on what is being done.

NC State game is exponentially more important than the Notre Dame game.

Win over NC State means 3-0 in the ACC...with only VaTech in our way of a Coastal Crown.

A loss to NC State puts us at 2-1 and kickin rocks with mediocrity, like usual.

I wanna beat Notre Dame, but the game really ain't mean nothin.

I think this game makes winning the coastal a real possibility. Which despite most people aiming at 6-6/7-5 before the season, if the Canes win this game no way is anyone going to consider a 6-6 season anything but a failure.

If they can win this game they are in position to have a season that no one besides some Canes' fans even thought possible.

A loss on Saturday would obviously align expectations with what most people were expecting pre-season

We can win or lose any game this season. GT didn't change anything for me personally except our odds of making a bowl game to vacate.

Make no doubt about it, dont win this one, then much of the shine is off the Gatech game
