You have to recognize your D can't stop anyone. The O has to control the ball and get 1st. That isn't rocket science.

Golden has shown he can develop players. They are more disciplined and never give up. The team works hard and was over achieving prior to this debacle. His DC is slowing down this programs progress.

I agree Ive said that exact same thing in 3 other threads.. This isnt Jedd's first year coaching football he should know how to manage a college game at this point in his career.. I do put some of it on Golden hes the HC call a ******* time out.. Last corch wouldnt save a Time Out this guy wants to save them for next week..

How good will this defense be next year? I have seen two seasons of him being well below average. Does anyone here think the D will be top third in the country next year? Three seasons to do what? Crack the top 50? Naw....we see what is coming. This is the Patrick nix of dcoordinators. Stubborn and has no feel for the flow of the game. He finally starts getting pressure up the middle and he rushes 3 to lose the game. What made him think we could cover anyone? Idiota

After a year of watching him, I'll agree that he calls a ****ty game, but there really is nothing he can call right now with certainty it will be executed.

This team, with an under talented defense looks 10 times better than the Shannon teams that barely sleepwalked their way to wins against the likes of Duke and Wake in Shannon 3rd year.

Alot more fight, alot more heart with this club. We lost in a heartbreaker. Not worried.

Need more talent on D.

Imagine if Duke would have gotten rid of Coach K after his first couple of years. While there is prolly a 50-1 ratio on coaches failing as opposed to succeeding, you still have to give a guy a chance to build his program. We were mush soft last year and are getting stronger. We need guys to make plays, but we still have a ton of frosh and guys who wouldn't make the team in the glory years on the roster. Yes losses like today suck but when the talent Al has been in for more then 2 years I would be willing to bet we stop losing these games. JMHO
