Tears Nole Tears (“Offcial”)

Norvell's comments from practice "this might be the best roster we've had, we're bigger, stronger, faster". He had Warchant believing every word, and the entire fanbase. There are lot of them right now commenting that 7-5 would be good but 6-6 could be the reality, and complaining that they extended Norvell "who can't identify or develop talent". Ouch. A BC victory on Monday would be the icing on the cake.
They going to learn the hard way man, those red flags on the trail will follow you. An undefeated season dont mean **** if u aint bringing in top guys. That gave him a long leash to really destroy that program and he will.

I mentioned in a post earlier I have them at 3-3, possibly 2-4 to start. That’s just off roster talent and opponent matchup. That’s not even considering if they drop Saturday what kind of effort are they going to get from their portal guys

Again, these aren’t real people. Now this was always a bridge year. In Year 5, mind you. Bridge year for a 5th year staff. Now, once you’re done laughing at the entire premise, this dude says it’s because the team is young. Their entire ******* team is seniors! What planet are these people from?? At least one guy gets it there.

Saw some FSU fans blaming the current program state to Jimbo and still clutching pearls on “COVID years” for Norvell.

and complaining that they extended Norvell "who can't identify or develop talent".

This isn't something that comes out after they fire him. This is obvious to anyone watching that program. They are not recruiting HS talent and that is always a house of cards.

Norvell's biggest mistake was not bolting after last year.

Dude had all the momentum in the world and couldn't do anything with it. He had a chance to make a statement in the Orange Bowl that would have cemented his status. That's what their problem is.

The issues that had plagued this program are way more obvious now that it looks like we may not have them.

Lack of elite talent in the trenches. Lack of elite competition in practice.

If your oline is cheeks then your dline looks great. Practicing and dominating against dog water talent makes game day a rude fckng awakening.

Dominating in practice and then getting stonewalled in an actual game is a frightening and stressful dilemma that you won’t be able to work around.

Depth is huge now. You may have a really god 1’s but if the drop off with the 2’s is steep…. You lose development and if an injury happens then good luck.
Also, if you’re not deep you don’t put any fear in the heart of your starters. You need the freshman to be elite in order for your starters to not lose focus.

Recruiting in itself is harder when an elite player goes to Bama or ga and then takes a walk around your campus and sees slower and smaller players. Heck! he might see a starter that he played against and say “ that dude sucked in high school and he’s starting here”?.

You can sell all the hopium you want. You can even guarantee starting. But no single player is gonna want to carry a team that’s gonna get rag-dolled.

They’re more mad at the dork “writers” for lying to them about the team being bad than they are at the coaches and program for putting a **** roster together in year 5. It’s incredible. Yes, this is all that fat **** Chris Nee’s fault lmao.

If they FAFO vs BC the level
of vitriol at Norvell will be legendary.
He’s already gone from “best in the business” to “why did we extend him” in the span of exactly one game

@Peter Ariz thoughts?

UGA is the perfect example of this. Richt recruited very well there. But didn’t get the elite of the elite. Hence he never got over the hump. Kirby took their recruiting to an absurd level and now they are the unquestioned top dogs in CFB. FSU lied to themselves by the portal and beating up the weakest version of the ACC.

There are several posts of mine from past years where I tried to tell people that JUSTIN FUENTE was the guy who built up Memphis, not Prison Mike Norvell.

But I had a bunch of Miami fans telling me how great Prison Mike was, and how his "Portal Strategy" was the new way forward...

Besides his winning streak, Prison Mike has gone 12-18 at F$U. Never forget.

I thought CIS had the only message board fans who were bi-polar.

This is a touch concerning to me because our collective bat **** crazy is a huge competitive advantage.

There will be mass seppuku in Tally if BC gets the dub-U on Monday.
