N'Kosi Perry Re-commits

Jack needs to be coached up that is a fact, but im not judging the kid until i see him play, because i have seen plenty of times when a kid has great numbers and hes a bust and vice versa, i see the ability and i see that his supporting cast was suspect, im not going to say based on his stats and all star game that he wont play a down because we havent seen the kid play a down of college ball, im going to the spring game so i can see him live hopefully he gets some good snaps

And im not comparing perry to jack, perry is a beast and im happy as **** hes here, kid has a ton of potential, my argument is about people doubting jack
This I'm high on both. Don't see how you doubt a kid before their first down on the field in college. He will be coached by one of the best qb coaches of all time...

Nkosi perry is the state of Florida's version of deshaun Watson... Perry plays just like him

Does this mean theres a good chance Richt will run a fast break up tempo spread like at FSU? Would love to see them use Perry like Clemson does with Watson. This kids the goods and i could see him being a 5 star by NSD. Great pocket awareness and kid has an arm

Where is all this sheriffs hype coming from? Allison is raw and needs work on his mechanics but he will have 2 years to work on it. Rosier is what he is and that's a solid back up.

Current players and former coaches were raving about Sheriffs' play last year. Supposedly, he looked great on the scout team.

He seems to have been a real "find".

After backing away from his early commitment to Miami in early February, N’Kosi Perry once again committed to the Hurricanes less than two weeks ago.

But that didn’t stop him from visiting Tennessee.

The four-star junior quarterback from Vanguard High School in Ocala, Fla., finally traveled to Tennessee on Friday to take a firsthand look at the Vols, and while they made a good impression on him, he told 247Sports’ Ryan Bartow that he’s “still 100 percent with Miami.”

Perry said visiting Tennessee, which extended a scholarship offer to him nearly three months ago, is “something I’ve been planning to do for a while.” He finally got a chance to make the trip Friday with Vanguard coach Edwin Farmer.

“We toured the whole campus. I sat in on a meeting,” said Perry, who's ranked the nation’s No. 287 overall prospect and No. 10 dual-threat quarterback in the 247Sports Composite for the 2017 class.

“I got to see pretty much everything they have to offer.”

The 6-foot-3.5, 176-pound Perry said he enjoyed talking with Tennessee coach Butch Jones’ staff, including offensive coordinator Mike DeBord and tight ends coach Larry Scott, who has known Perry since his previous stint at Miami.

“I spent time with Coach DeBord, Coach Scott, coach Butch Jones,” Perry said. “I like those guys a lot.”

Perry said the highlight of the visit was seeing Tennessee’s facilities and “the big stadium.” The Vols also showed him that he could be a good fit in their offense.

“I feel I’m more of a spread quarterback, and Tennessee is more of a spread offense,” he said. “But they run a lot of pro-style concepts.”

But Perry said he’s still firmly committed to the Hurricanes. And while he said he has talked with Illinois this week and he still hears plenty from Auburn, he currently doesn’t have any additional visits planned.

“As of right now, I’m still 100 percent with Miami,” he said. “That’s where my heart is at
