Just watch. Emory will go to a team with better coaches and actually do something. Do I think he's the answer here? **** no. However, part of that **** no is the fact this staff runs a retarded O when he's in there. If Emory is too bad to run an O other than this, what they run when he's in there, he's not a scholarship QB. If he's a scholarship player, this staff has done a pathetic job of getting him ready.

Whatever the case is, this staff is failing everyone. We should never have a second string QB that can't throw a forward pass. Year 3, folks. This isn't acceptable.

I have no doubt the kid can sit in the film room and tell you exactly what’s what, but on the field he’s remedial and doesn’t seem to have the tools (arm and leg) to maneuver the pocket and create his own play. Dawson sucked when tvd was here but looks like a genius with cam.

I’d go with Nickel over Emory. I’d take a decent portal qb though as a 1 year rental if one is available.

Nickel is a winner compared to every QB we've recently recruited. Playing against opponents 25x better than any QB we recruited in the past has faced and never folded under pressure got better faster stronger more accurate. The game slowed down for him after during his junior year you can tell.

I posted in another thread recently more detailed. I'd have no problem if he wins QB outright and wins the team over to where they're confident Luke will keep them in or win them games. If it does don't be surprised when we beat the Irish especially if we get hit a homerun on Defense coaches players and scheme. They will have a new QB just like us. Right now their defense is better that's it.

The boy is special lets his game speak for itself by winning. We need to keep recruiting/bringing in these types of players at all positions. Winners that's battle tested, well coached, can handle constructive criticism, students of the game when staff isnt in the vicinity.
