No, Miami fans gave Emory the benefit of doubt because he was a freshman, every Miami that I know kinda took it easy on Emory because he was a freshman in 2023. Now TVD not so much because he was a seasoned veteran so fans gave him lots of heat for his bad play, if Nickel comes in and plays well but makes some freshman mistakes no one will be calling for him to transfer…

Isn't Dawson the QB coach in addition to OC? Why after 2 full seasons at UM does Emory still exhibit bad throwing mechanics? Shouldn't that be something that the OC/QB coach coaches him up on? If Emory hasn't shown any type of an improvement/growth as a qb after being under Dawson for two seasons to me that's more of an indictment on Dawson's inability as an OC/QBC. Cam really was the outlier.

Our success rate on 1 year rentals is based on one, 1 year rental and we didn't make the ACCCG nor the CFP. Everyone has a different definition of rebuilt I suppose.
 
We’ll know for sure when he gets here, but on tape Nickel has so much more athleticism than Emory. Everything is coordinated and easy.

When Nickel signed, I said I expected him to be our backup QB. I still believe that. If we don’t sign a transfer, I think he’ll win the starting job.
