I'm down with modernizing The U and rebranding this thing as Golden turns the corner.

Maybe. But one absolute. NEVER, EVER, EVER mess with the "U" on the helmets. That should not even be open for discussion.

True, I'm down with any change except for that U on the side of the helmet. That has to stay untouched. Unless you are going to make it a little bigger. But it has to stay the way it is.

I always wondered how the "U" on the helmet would look with a thin, black pinstripe just barely outlining the U. Curious, but I think it would make for a bolder, more noticeable U on the white helmet.

You either go "traditional" like Alabama etc or you go "cutting edge" like Oregon... I see the draw to both and probably feel like traditional is the way to go, but you can't disagree that Oregon's uniforms do draw attention to the program. The cutting edge look would separate ourselves from Uif and FSU in that manner. What say you? Traditional or cutting edge?
