NCAA To Announce Punishment at 10am Today

Tim Reynolds @ByTimReynolds
The fact that Emmert isn't announcing the sanctions himself is probably a good sign for Miami.

Does he normally give these announcements?

He's one of the biggest attention whores this side of Kanye Less. The fact he ain't announcing means no one trusts his *** to reign in his ego. He's the poster child for the NCAA's incompetency, so I don't read much into it except that he's a liability for the organization at this point.

Dmoney needs to stop being so vague

If DMoney wants info in the future, he needs to keep being vague. Read between the lines.

It comes out tomorrow and IIRC he was the one that broke the Coach Coley to Miami news before it was done.

He also said Gruden was coming to Miami.

D$ is wrong just as much as he's right. We're all going to find out tomorrow morning, I'm not going to get worried or excited because somebody who has just as much chance as being right or wrong gives some vague offering. It's what all of those "insiders" do. They say vague things, wait for the peons to get excited, and get more views because of it.

anyone who is even scared of us getting another bowl ban is an idiot.
what dmoney said.

An idiot? Yeah, why would any UM fan be skeptical of the NCAA at this point. I, for one, fully expect no additional ban. But to think it is idiotic for the common UM fan to be scared of that potentiality is itself idiotic.

Emmert is too egotistical to care what anyone thinks. If they were going to bury us you can guarantee that *** clown would be leading the charge.

i'm going w/ dmoney and Andrew on this one. it's why emmert isn't gonna be there, if that's true. send some low level officer to announce and be embarrassed by their shoddy investigation.

I could see limiting us by 10 scholarships per year over 3 years. We would have to appeal because we have 26 commits; however, we are playing with 75 right now. It would mean being able to offer 15 scholarships during February 2015 and February 2016. We would be losing roughly 25 players each year, so in our worst year, we would be at 65 players.

No additional bow bans, though. Sounds like Golden already knows that (i.e. see his recent comments).
