NCAA To Announce Punishment at 10am Today

It would be badass if Golden holds a press conference in the Edge James meeting room with all 100+ players behind him and says something to the effect of....

We have been wronged over the last 2 1/2 years
Other teams have kicked us when we were down
These kids behind me have been punished for transgressions they had nothing to do with
but every single one of the chose to stand with the U in the face of adversity
and now that this has finally come to an end, you better watch out for the Miami Hurricanes....

Drops Mic and walks out of the room with all the players following him.

Must've been terrifying for opponents playing in a haunted house against these demons.

We aren't getting another bowl ban. The sanctions will be small and we won't appeal. book it

Any vacated wins?

Not sure if this is serious but would you care if they vacated all wins from 2004-2012.

Not well versed in how the NCAA works but Rolle and Wilfork were on the 2001 squad, that's what I'm worried about.

stop worrying they wouldn't be deemed ineligible if at all until 03-04, so it has no effect on what happened in 01

And adds.... Jimbo I know you talked **** about us on the recruiting trail......Jimbo were coming to get you!

Miami is NOT planning a news conference related to NCAA decision tomorrow. I have no idea what to make of that.

To me that says we don't think it's a big deal. We play Wake Forest this week, so if you want to talk about that, fine.

What's this bs about television?

According to documents reviewed by The Associated Press, the NCAA asked the Hurricanes to provide, among other things: Information about how many scholarships Miami is using in football and men's basketball this academic year, how many Miami plans to issue in those sports next year, details of all postseason play in the last four years, and a review of all games that the school expects to play on television in the next three years.

That suggests the NCAA was considering scholarship reductions, vacation of some records, and a TV ban as possible penalties.

Probably nothing, but they wanted the information about our TV schedule. ACC wouldn't let that happen.

Yeah, laughable. Just don't like the request.

Well at least they made it easy on us when they asked for postseason play records from 2009-2012.

Isn't this stuff (minus the scholarships) readily available? Can't you check what bowl games we played in or how many games were on TV.

isn't it ironic, all the leaks during the investigation, 100 tweets and retweets by reporters telling me when they announcement is but no actual information coming out. reporters are useless. isn't there anyone who has the skinny on this thing??

I'm normally not a reactionary type, but if they gave us a TV bans...I would litterally sue the NCAA to it's death if I was Miami.

Cue the scene in social network...You better lawyer up *******, because I'm not coming back for 30%, I'm coming back for EVERYTHING.
