From Ferman's ON3 site: they spoke to Carr's coach

- Cody Woodiel was in Carr's school this afternoon to check up on Carr and Landon Thomas. Miami has emerged as a stron contender for Carr and their chances with him are better than with Thomas

- Carr will visit Auburn this upcoming weekend and be at Hard Rock for Ga Tech game on 10/7 (when Jeremiah Smith will also visit)

"He’s obviously opened up his recruitment to test the waters and see if there’s a better fit for him on and off the field,” Colquitt County head coach Sean Calhoun told CaneSport after Woodiel’s visit to the school. “Hopefully he gets all of his questions answered through this whole process.”

-Calhoun said Woodiel didn’t ask much about his on-field production or abilities but inquired about his character, his personality off the field and his behavior as a teammate.
Thought he canx Auburn to head to Colorado instead?

We about to try. But you’ll see a couple of familiar names pop up come December. Murph will be on his way to whatever school he chooses within 3 days of the portal being open. He’s the hot commodity

Would love to have a shot at Cam Ward, if he's interested in staying in college one more year.

There’s nothing logical in thinking that 12 completions into his freshman season that Emory has leveled the field with Lagway, Raiola, Saylin and similar for elite level 24 WR recruits.

I think Emory looks good. We need to see more over time and against stepped up competition.
@cway313 I’m kind of hoping this is a good laugh at my post not a bad one. Lol

Yessir. I do not profess to have coach-level analytical skills, but I've seen plenty of players who have suffered from being rushed into the starting lineup.

And make no mistake, I have nothing against DJ Lagway, but I know that Gaytor fans are hailing him as a Day 1 savior (until Mertz shocked them all against Tennessee). I'm certainly no fan of seeing an 18 year old kid develop PTSD by being thrown into 8 (or more by next year) SEC games against SEC D-lines...
I’ll say this. If emory start’s for Miami next year and lagway does the same for Florida, Emory will look like the superior player. DJ needs a year to sit regardless of where he goes. Emory’s mental capacity is much greater than the average kid at QB.

RIP. A great one and an original.
”What the **** is a public *****”
“Got to coordinate”
”don’t nobody go in the bathroom for 35, 45 minutes”
I think I should complain to myself but the word”ene*a” was deleted? That’s not even a bad word. For some its a medical necessity to keep the pipes clean.

My bold, and far too early prediction. I don’t care which QBs are on the roster next season (assuming TVD is gone), Emory Williams will be out starting QB. He will beat out any transfer. Great processing speed and a quick release.

If he does what you say he’s much better than even Cis is saying imo and we’re in great hands

I LOVE the way this is going and even more so Mario shoving it up B Mac's ***.

Emory will be a better player than DJ IMO. I don’t see us getting Raiola or Saylin. I think Emory is the future at QB.

Go back and look at how many 5* and Elite11 QBs have busted throughout the years it’s not necessarily an easy position to project like EDGE, DL and CB. Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes were practically no name guys come out of high school and are now dominating in the NFL… I’m not saying that’s gonna be Emory but the staff does think very highly that he’s a future 1st rounder!

So OSU and Bama are selling that their incoming highly rated QB will actually be good unlike the current highly rated QBs that are not playing like highly rated QBs. Noland and Sayin may pan out but it is not a sure thing and I would be surprised if Mario is not pointing that out. Is FSU also selling on the great view he will have watching whatever portal WR they decided to bring in and play instead of him? In terms of what Mario is selling my guess is they are selling the system and the plan to get a portal QB if TVD leaves.

If we keep Dawson around that will likely happen just look at TVD right now he’s got the second highest QBR in the nation and is on pace to have the best passing stats of any Miami QB in recent history.

Like i said im fairly certain they wont rely on JB, Emory and Judd alone. Cristobal doesnt work that way. Its competition for every spot. No one is gonna be handed the job. Emory is most likely to win it now. He knows where to go with the ball, he process the picture quickly. Once his clock get sped up he will be fine. Im also not writing off JB in another offseason. I also wanna see what he does this season in his 4 games. The QB read option is part of his game, can he develop enough to be a threat passing? Dont know. He has to work on his feet and mechanics.

Btw that Boi who went from Oregon to Tennessee, how did that work out for him? Thornton? 5 Rec for 65 yards. Good decision papa.

ny carr and jeremiah smith - we better light it up against GT

It's a good game to bring offensive recruits to.

GT is god awful on defense.

They gave up 299 rushing and 251 passing on only 56 plays to Ole Miss.

They're 107th in the country in scoring defense. They give up 34 a game to FBS teams. With the way this offense is humming, if we don't drop at least 40, I'll be disappointed. I don't expect 40 against every team we play, but I do against Georgia Tech.

Wrong buddy

Bama has highly ranked qbs and the game last week two of them looked like ***

Williams is the goods.
Last I checked they had a bunch of 4 star QBs right now. Odds are much lower they end up great. Having a 5 star QB committed is huge.
