Michael Johnson Jr to Penn State

And with that, he still committed there!!! Lawrence looks like the real deal and it didn't scare him away. That's someone I want!! Thats a players who likes to compete! That's what this program is built on! Again I love CMRs energy but continuously recruiting one guy and telling everyone else to kick rocks isn't an approach anyone else takes either. UGA and BAMA play in the NC last year and both are heading into fall with QB contoversys. You recruit the best players and let them settle it on campus. I don't think you should ever have a class without a qb. And recruiting one guy only with any fallback plan seems misguided

That or Tai is content to sit and wait his turn. That turn can come on thr next down, but I don't believe for one second he thinks he's going in there and competing to start from day one. There's confidence, but every man has an idea where they stand and he knows it's an uphill battle. Good though, he can refine his game and prepare like he's one play away from starting.

Everyone is not a culture fit at Miami
I sorta felt that from jump. His personality felt like it would clash heavily with SoFla players, unlike a Rosier or a Kosi or Williams. He seemed soft honestly. Disclaimer: this is not bashing post commitment lol, always felt this way.

Im curious were these personality concerns relayed to the staff before or after they flew cross country several times?

I'm not, that's just dumb **** people say.

How exactly was Dorsey, Bernie, Gino, Vinnie, etc personality matches? Those guys came in and proved themselves and got respect for it.

He probably did fit in better elsewhere, but of that was all that went into making a decision, then we would've had a very different looking type of QB the last 30 years by and large.

I've been ****tin on this jit since before it was hot in the streets.

Back to back trash evals from Lil Richt. ****kowski and MJJ who isn't a fvckin QB. Full stop.

I'm legit glad this inaccurate bum ain't come here to waste a roster spot. Now let's poach a kid with potential at QB from Wake, NC State, Kentucky or similar bottom tier P5 for depth and insurance purposes when Kosi bails next year after being beat out by Jarren.

Jarren is the truth and Weldon has skills. But we don't wanna be in a position like FSU was last year with QBs ever. One play away

Fck that 1980’s Michael Jackson sounding ninja! Going to PEDSt fits this mutha fck’r persona.

Ninja was dropping in the rankings playing against deers, antelopes, and kids who’ll make more money distributing baseball cards then pumping gas. Was never sold on this chump. Only regret is we spent mileage chasing a dude who rather be cuddled at night then play football. Fck him and anyone associated w PSU!l

Maybe and maybe not. Clemson offer is pretty good, no? They seemed to come out of nowhere and he jumped on it.
Huh? What was out of nowhere? Clemson. No... he had just got the offer technically but they told him for more than a year how badly they wanted him. For anyone that cares believe me if you choose but franklin called tai even after mike committed to say they still have a spot for him & that hes a priority

So Penn State would go with 3 QBs or are they assuming one of the current commits will drop? I'm not sure if you'd know that but what you said has me curious. 3 in one class seems like overdoing it IMO

I know one thing, I’m kind of opposed to getting a graduate QB to compete for the job next year unless they would be fine with riding the pine as depth. We need someone that can grow with our receivers the next couple of years and I prefer That to be Perry or Williams after this season

Wait till you see what he looks like this year. Call the competition whatever u like but the kid doesnt have any reason to refine anything else. Only problem anyone had with him was that he pushed the ball. Thats long gone.
