We're supposed to believe that Robinson, Porter, Pierre and Chickillo are complete JAGs?

Did they not have decent offers coming out of high school? Did they ALL not look better earlier in their career here?

Chickillo isn't a bad football player but he has a ceiling. Plus I've seen him take a lot of double teams this year so he is an asset out there in spite of his stats.

Porter is not the same guy he was in high school because, like Sharon green, injuries take a toll unfortunately. My hats off to the kid for finishing out a season though and I wish him the best in the future.

Robinson just isn't very talented

Pierre might still make something of himself. He came in undersized and had to play a year too earlyn(should be a rs sophomore) so I still think he will be alright

Porter's injuries were an infection to his finger that got complicated, an appendectomy, and a knee injury. Of those, the only one of significance to his playing ability was his knee, and he had a full recovery from that. His situation is nothing like Green's.

They never tell you the full extent of someone's injuries for a lot of reasons. First so they don't get targeted. Second so it won't affect their draft status. Third because it's nobody's business and they're not legally required to disclose medical stuff

You really think porter missed a whole season for a finger?? **** I've seen people play with metal rods surgically running thru their hand bones.

That's like saying Morris has a bruise. Yeah sure. That's why he is still limping around over a month later. A bruise.

Take all that w a grain of salt. Porter has not played much because he has been banged up.

He had a finger injury that turned into an infection that got bad. You can either accept the truth, or dig your heels in on your original point like everyone else. His situation is nothing like Green's.

You don't think football teams try to hide injuries from the outside world?

Every team does that. I don't know for a fact that Porter has been hurt, but I know football teams bs about injuries and my gut tells me dude didn't miss a whole season with a finger cut.

VT sucks? Are you insane? They have one the best best defenses in CFB. If you put a decent qb on that team, they would be top 10. You do realize that they lost to bama by 25 points of which 3 TDs came from punt and kick returns.

Virginia Tech is garbage... they lost to Maryland b/c they suck. There are about 15 teams that could beat them by 40 points or more.

Duke is garbage also.... the Coastal is the most pathetic division in CFB and Miami is one of the reasons why.

Funny thing about the 1-gap vs. 2-gap thing.

Go watch the 4th & 1 play where Duke scored on that 33 yard run. We're playing 1-gap and somebody (I think Porter) blew an Offensive Linemen all the way into the backfield on the right side.

So all the talk about 1-2 gap, and we 1 gap and they run for 33. Could this be what the coaches see. This is why I say more players than coaches, but it is a tight race.

The 33 yard run had nothing to do with us 1-gapping though. Cornelius wasn't in the cut-back lane.
