Porter's a bad dude with tremendous quickness. His first step is lightning. He has tremendous potential. He looks like **** now just like everyone else on the defense does.

Most of our players on our team were really really good at one time. Most have been over hyped.

Hard to recruit studs at any position when everyone but UM coaches are whispering "death penalty" in your ear.
Now that the NCAA mess is cleared up we are seeing a top recruiting class with old school Cane talent across the board.

I didn't want to believe that we were a couple recruiting classes behind but after watching our up the middle weaknesses exploited 3 weeks in a row, it's apparent that we are truly still in a rebuilding mode.

Could be worse. At least we know why we are having issues, and also that those issues are over.
Our future looks primed for success.

We are not The gators, whose only reason for an implosion is that they suck ****.

I actually did not elieve in the team they surprised me with 7-0, I though Duke could not carry the load and I was right. The Alex Collins miss was huge and I knew how huge it was biggest miss last cycle. I knew Jamies was a beast because reports were he was at spring (why the fk would anyone lie?), he was a 5 star for a reason. Never believed in Morris or this DL still, Bostwick and Bryant were epic failures and pushed our program back 1 season IMO.

Chickillo isn't a bad football player but he has a ceiling. Plus I've seen him take a lot of double teams this year so he is an asset out there in spite of his stats.

Porter is not the same guy he was in high school because, like Sharon green, injuries take a toll unfortunately. My hats off to the kid for finishing out a season though and I wish him the best in the future.

Porter's injuries were an infection to his finger that got complicated, an appendectomy, and a knee injury. Of those, the only one of significance to his playing ability was his knee, and he had a full recovery from that. His situation is nothing like Green's.

All good defenses start with great DTs. If you can not stop the run or the pass you are fucckked. 101 Two years in a row with out DTs really hurts. Then only a couple of ok DTs from a few years before that. We are looking at it now. Can not get around it. No way. Porter was banged up most of his time playing. Wonder how much scar tissue he has in him.

They never tell you the full extent of someone's injuries for a lot of reasons. First so they don't get targeted. Second so it won't affect their draft status. Third because it's nobody's business and they're not legally required to disclose medical stuff

He had a finger injury that turned into an infection that got bad. You can either accept the truth, or dig your heels in on your original point like everyone else. His situation is nothing like Green's.
