You care to discuss how we had 1 turnover vs Cal and that was a pick 6? Defense wasn’t affected at all by the offense. 🤣

Defense got its **** pushed in by a bad Cal offense. Miss me with that.

Second half what did the defense do? You think the offense miraculously got the ball back?

You don't come back from 25 and 20 with the defense doing nothing.

Now you’re changing your argument. 🤣 Whatever, my guy. You’re in total denial, and that’s fine. You stand on crack island.

This Defense has major issues. Those ranking are heavily inflated because we played no one worth a **** on Offense. Louisville is going to be our toughest opponent, yet. Let’s see what happens.
 
UM's FBS opponents Yards Per Game ranking:

UF - 59
VT - 82
Cal - 83
USF - 84
Ball St. - 113

21 missed tackles against VT at home.

Cal had at least 5 "explosive" plays on our defense... it's 3 longest plays from scrimmage this season were all on UM.

The defense undeniably has some issues to address moving forward.

As it stands, a top 30 Offense would shred this D for 4 quarters.

Adjustments were made by the defense whether you like it or not and i see your avoidance. It is what it is.

They need to shore up the secondary, start faster and not take anything for granted but if you think the defense hasn't played a part in the last three weeks you just need your narrative fulfilled.

"**** pushed in" is just wrong and you don't know ball if you think that's what happened

we were ranked 5th in terms of net success rate last weekend, which means we dominated nearly the entire game

the PROBLEM as we know is the few plays we did lose, they all were 50-60 yard td's

"**** pushed in" implies cal drove the field and manhandled us, and that couldn't be further from the truth

our secondary played like dog **** and we gave up 4 massive plays. Fixing schematical errors is a lot easier week to week then fixing physicality, which wasn't our issue

First off, we have played bad to terrible offenses so far. UF is the only one inside the top 80 at 59 if you like early season rankings. The #82 offense just put up 370 yards and 38 points on our D. It shouldn't take until halftime to make adjustments anymore. If Guidry (I have been easy on him so far) doesn't fix this, wait until we play a decent offense with talent.

The biggest adjustment made by our D vs cal, was for cal to decide to try to run the clock out.
 
Need rivers back to block their DE.

Defense better be ready to run laterally as Louisville will stretch them out. So far defense hasnt been able to stop that
