I haven't wanted to comment on this because I know Coach Cooney personally from JV days at Gables -- had 0 ******* clue he was an actual player in the SoFla crootin' game. All of us kids liked him as a coach at the time. Hope he does join the U and get us Pope.
 
It's funny how our powers move play out! Didn't we just lose a big time recruit from the school he has connections at! This recruiting is kind of like our offense during that four game losing stretch! Smh

I'm not sold on any of these south florida high school guys helping us one bit.

Total joke. Elite schools are getting studs; we are looking at high school guys with supposed ties to the community.

We have all seen how much Ice and Rumph have helped us luring stud recruits. No need to go down this road again.

By Pete using terms a "power move" the expectations have been raised to a point that there no way to he lives up to it.

Just think it would probably have been better to have said "adding another guy to support staff" rather than "power move" IMO

Yea. Wouldnt say its a power move but its a good move as far as recruiting locally.

How is it desperation trying to add another guy who can help? Bama has 100 coaches on staff. Jimbo is trying to get fsu to give up the money to get all those extra coaches like bama. You cant not do nothing when everybody around you is making moves.
