And Mario Cristobal wouldn't just be answering this question and judged based on how the response helps Cam, now would he? Secondly, what if that's not even the truth, and the reason Cam played was literally to get the record. How do you think that reasoning would go down lol. What if Mario was protecting Cam by giving that answer lol.

The fact is anyone that trusts the media to not being dumbasses is playing with fire expecting not to get burned. If the Media wants to run with this narrative they're spinning theyll do so regardless.

I don’t really give a **** if it’s the truth or not, he’s letting a media **** storm stir up about the best player the program has had in decades. A player that is the sole reason Cristobal isn’t staring at a losing record 3 years in. It’s a stupid stance to take.

Exactly...If the media can sell negativity they will , doesn't matter the subject matter.... If it draws Eyes,views,clicks, it runs with it.... We could really go down a rabbit hole on this subject but for the sake of the site I won't go there but I can tell you I have 0 faith in media/social media.....

Anyone in the media creating anything out of this to talk **** about Cam is fcking POS. It's obvious why it was done, regardless of what Mario's simple-minded self said or didn't say.

Lol whatever man. Congrats on being enlightened and thinking tons of people with hundreds of thousands if not millions of followers aren’t real and isn’t a ******* easily avoidable bad look.

Coach should have just said that he appreciates all that Cam did for the program this year and he was overjoyed that Cam wanted to compete in the bowl game, but he needed to give the backup QB, who is returning next year, a half to play competitive football as the coaches are still assessing and deciding on what the QB room will look like next year.

Put your hand up and take responsibility. You're the head coach. Disappointing, mealy mouthed quote Coach gave in the presser.

More likely than not Cam played a half or until he set the record. If that's the case, I thank him for keeping us from getting blown out by putting up 31 in the first half. On the off chance it was Mario's choice, Mario's an idiot.

I think that people that are so dumb they are purposefully taking this one way, are the same people that will interpret any answer (or ignore any answer) that negates that dumbass point they are gleefully running with.
 
I don't care if Cam Ward insulted Mario's mom and said he is only going to play for his sorry a** for one half to break a record, Mario should state clearly to the media "While Cam wanted to play the whole game, we wanted to see what we have in Emory for next season."

After all Cam did for Mario and this team this year, it is the least he could do

That’s fair. Would still prefer to see Cristobal stand up for his guy instead of giving that stupid *** non-answer.
