Mario- quit hanging Cam out to dry

I believe Cam wanted to play just looking at his body language on the sidelines.. looked like he wanted to keep playing..

Even if Cam told them he wasn’t playing the whole game before him.. At the very least Mario should have came out and said the decision was all on him.. lie or not. He owes Cam that at the very least

Idk why he makes things much more difficult than they need to be

Exactly, dog. This ninja always thinking he’s playing chess or being covert, & it makes things so much harder. Like just say:

“We decided w/ the team we have, the score, & Cam’s future it was in his best interest to sit out to make sure he fulfills a life long dream. Hats off to him for even willing to play in this game w/ nothing to prove, & put us in a position to win.”

Simple!

I think you genuinely have to be a complete ****** to not understand the situation lol.
Him playing a half or at least until he broke the record was clearly the plan. And clearly the staff wanted to see Emory live. I really don't know what idiots can't comprehend that...

This is such a non factor and ppl acting stupid.

Cam is a top 3 pick in NFL draft. Didnt have to play. Had an NCAA record in front of his face.

I'm sure they agreed to play a half to make it not completely obvious they wanted that record. And that's fair. Cam deserves that record.

I'm glad I got to watch an extra half of Cam bc of it.

Regardless of who what or why. Someone should stand up and tell the truth. If Mario knew he was only going to get a half out of Cam he should have left him home. How hard is it to say we intended going in to give Emory a shot. The lack of transparency just complicates everything going in to the off season.

The media will bash Miami any chance they get. Mario can shut the door but he’s leaving it wide open. This needs to be addressed immediately because the noise is only going to get louder.

Not about Cam even playing a half. Not about Colorado getting boat raced by the Mormons. Not about the ACC only winning one game in bowl play. Mario needs to slam the door shut because the noise will only continue.

10000%

That dumbass announcer for CU/BYU game can eat a ****. Playing a whole game for a meaningless bowl won't factor in the decision-making for a team on his draft day selection. He broke the record as a Cane and showed us that JOJO and Lofton can be impactful with a good QB.

Meanwhile it's only a "bigger story" cause idiots like Albert Breer want to make it one lol. Like he wants him to tweet exactly what he already knows **** well the situation was lol. Just dumb
Two things can be true. These guys are being purposefully obtuse and looking for engagement, and Mario should stop being a dip**** and just say they wanted to see Emory but Cam wanted to play and they told him they’d give him a half. It’s not ******* hard.

If they are being purposefully obtuse, why would you expect them not to twist the answers as much as possible to push the same dumbass narrative?

Because there’s no way to twist “Cam wanted to play the whole game. We wanted to see what we have in Emory for next season but felt he earned a half for everything he did for us this season.” in a way that is slanderous to the player that just carried your *** to 10 wins.
