It's a bit much to expect kids from any HS to feel loyal to anyone when they change schools so often.

I'll tell you one thing with absolute certainty. If Wilson's kid picks somewhere other than UM, UM needs to blackball him immediately. If you can't even send your own kid here, then you're a useless traitor and can't be trusted.

What did Mike Irving say about Mike Jr? "My son can go anywhere he wants as long as it's UM." These flim flam dudes need to learn from The Playmaker what it's like to be a man.

100% agree. gets a pass for quincy because of the previous coaching staff. i wouldn't have wanted my kid to play for golden either. however, with the new staff, there is no reason why he should dis the school except maybe because UM wouldn't accept all his credits when he (chad) transferred to us from that california school. maybe he holds a little grudge but still that would make no since.

Also if he knew his son wasn't coming to miami and is actually going to a hated rival,he should have thanked Richt for the invite to coach at paradise camp but decline the offer.

Pete's got a direct connect. I think he's buddy buddy with Choad Wilson. Macho will come on here hedging his call soon enough telling us how his scoop was good when he got it but things changed at the last minute.

Tough call. Petes been on a roll lately. Whoever his plug is knows their ****. BUT Macho knows Broward county in and out. I want to believe Macho for selfish reasons because I want MW..

But this kid has really kept his process close the vest. When all 3 of your finalists fanbases are saying that he is not choosing them you did a great job mind phucking everyone involved in your recruitment. Kudos to MW.

So is a db haul of CJ, Deejay, Edwards, Bandy, and maybe Amari Carter good enough?

You rather an ace recruiter over a great teacher at Db ? This is a quote from
A gator coach himself "the thing about rumph is that he will get beat this year but once he starts developing kids like he's known for its a wrap will be a nightmare on the recruiting trail".

Me personally I rather a teacher that develops talent at the position not an ace recruiter, look at the success coach kool is having why ? Cause his resume speaks for itself, these kids don't care about relationship they wanna make it to the league if you have a track record of putting kids in the league the recruiting comes easy.

Why are we having to choose between a coach or a recruiter? Is their not a coach across the entire nation that is at least adequate at both?

I'm sorry UM is not the place or the position for a person to establish his resume or learn on the job. If he wanted to establish his resume in order to sell his ability he should have gone to FIU or any number of places to get his foot in the door with these recruits.

Irvin went as far to to tell his son that if he wanted to go to another school he could go ahead and move out and start supporting himself.

We're supposed to go all Heaven's Gate and drink the suicide punch with some Nike's on because we didn't get Jeudy & Marco.

We really need a polished, pure corner in this class. I love CJ's upside, but he's raw AF (although probably my favorite DB recruit). Deejay is super athletic, but isn't a corner only type (I think he can grow into a beast though). Edwards is a safety/corner tweener with great size, but probably destined for safety or nickel. Bandy is a straight up nickel and Carter is more of a safety. We need someone like Marco because are going to need someone that can step in right away on the boundary. Most of these guys will need some time.
