Marco Wilson Announcement

It didn't matter if his dad was the coach, he wasn't coming here....the reputation of the school is still reeking of Golden's stench...Rumph landed us Gilbert nod Ivey next year and will bring Blades back into the fold...too early to call him a failure. None of those AH kids in 16 or 17 were coming here regardless....

I'm not ready to get rid of rumph before he's coached one full season, but, there is definitely something when he's having the trouble he's having with some of these kids. I know he might not be the main recruiter on some and the Wilson kid was never coming to UM, but some of the other kids, especially from AH are head scratchers. And I'm not sure how bad we wanted any of the others.

We should promoted Joker or T Rob to D cord. Not sold on Diaz or Rumph. My number 1 pick would of been Butch Davis but Miami seems not to want him at all .

Not sold on diaz he had a bunch of 3 stars in miss state and went up against a bunch of 4 star and 5 star offenses in the sec and still had top 20 defenses . How sway

No he didnt. Check the stats buddy. Diaz defense was ranked like 57th.

antpee, that's not regarding his total defensive rank, the efficiency of 3rd down defense, ppg given up, or ypg given up. That's only looking at TFL on the season.

37 pages for a non-commit...That's more pages than all our current commits got COMBINED! MODS he moved on and so should we. Lock this foolishness up.

I will say this. I think if rumph was at fsu or uf he would get those heritage dudes. For whatever reason they dont seem to like miami.

If that's the case...it's a wierd situation. I guess he never pushed for UM over spoke up for UM when he was the coach there...that or he was the least influential high school coach in history.

I heard the players and coaches at heritage love rumph. Its also been said that golden didnt really recruit heritage. Maybe thats the root of the problem. Maybe these dudes have never felt wanted by miami. I dont know what it is.

They love him so much they can't stand to be around him. They run from him like the plague.

They aint running from him. He recruited most of them to heritage. Like i said for whatever reason they dont seem to want to go to miami.

they are front running kids. thats pretty much why...and most cant be drawn by money plays etc as they are mostly well off kids..sec or big name programs are what attracts them similar to what attracted them to heritage

So UM's reputation is only completely destroyed at AH, which is the place Rumph coached? Yet we can pull other great prospects from everywhere else like the guys you mentioned? You make no sense trying to blame this on Folden's stench then turning around and claiming how well UM is doing locally.
