I didn’t commend anything, just wished the guy luck...for the 21/22 szn penn state will have a better record than ole miss Why do I believe that? Track record of the 2 coaches makes me confident of that..the idea i hate lane is dumb..but funny. all I used is facts. He got a opportunity based off his daddy to start is coaching career..got a NFL jobs he never deserve..fired. He went to Tenn for a cup of coffee, left for USC..was fired at USC on the team bus..went to bama did well as the OC. For A myriad of reasons was fired 10 days befor a NC game..landed at FAU and did well. Now he’s at ole miss and has done well this szn. They’ll go into next year ranked top 10..he’ll underachieve and I’ll be back to you about it

This is my last post about Manny. Time to move on. We got something big brewing in Miami and Im done looking in the rear view mirror. Dont wish any harm on the man, no ill will. As a flawed Christian, thats how I roll. He tried, he failed. Some of the tidbits thrown around these past couple weeks about some of the things he pulled are concerning and disappointing if true. Would certainly make me look at/remember him differently. PSU's problem now.

But I cant help myself one last time. Would have loved to be a fly on the wall in that interview.

James: So Manny, what's your general philosophy on 3rd or 4th and long situations

Manny: Glad you asked that James. Really tough for offenses in those situations against my scheme. Typically I like to rush 3 and drop 8 guys downfield, sitting about 5 to 10 yards past the 1st down marker in a soft zone. Occasionally I like to surprise them by having one of my lbs set up about 10 yards from the LoS and give them the look like he is dropping back, but sending him through as the 4th rusher. Really catches them off guard. You guys have a slip and slide around campus?
