Manny’s defenses get TFLs so look good statistically at the end of the year. However, if you watch a game, you see the defense fails to keep teams from marching down the field despite being in 3rd & longs or 4th & 14.

My major issue on Manny Diaz teams was point blank, on O and mostly D, I would have a feeling they were the worst team I ever seen on 3rd and whatever. If on O, we would struggle to make them and on D would almost always gave it up. Didn't really matter the yardage, we wouldn't make them on O and we almost always gave it up on D.

I already won that wager ...pedo state and your corch franklin or 7-5 with a losing conference record and is unranked...Ole Miss with Lane Train is 10-2...with a winning record and is #8 in the nation right outside the CFB playoffs....and inthe toughest division in CFB...

franklin has same record or worse than Manny Diaz the past 2 seasons....there is your resume...believe that...I already gave you all the facts in our other thread.

Your hate for Lane is ridiculous and now commending Corch Franklin on hiring Diaz is priceless....

As a Canes fans, I don't know what's more offensive, Randy at UF/FSU or Mandy at PSU?

What's next, Golden to ND?
 
If he can put together a decent unit (statistically), wouldn’t surprise me if a G5 school took a chance on him as a HC in 2023

How good was he as the DC this year? I don't think his defense is going to work well in the Big 10.

I think his hire is more about Penn State getting its foot into South Florida with Diaz and whatever assistants he brings.

With Mario recruiting, I'm not worried about any schools except Bama, UGA, and Ohio Srate. I'm not even worried about Clemson as they are now reduces to IMG and Tampa. Mario will take back Tampa from Clemson.

Not saying Clemson or any other school not named above won't get recruits out of South Florida. The difference is we will get who we want and they will get what's left.

Good for Manny landing on his feet. Good for Miami as the buyout owed to Diaz will be offset by his PSU deal.
