I miss the old Tom C gif during the Golden years...

I miss the retired Dan Bylsma gif. THAT should be re-born due to our recent increase in stature.

Wish I had that one.....

IF Mac chooses Maryland, I don't see how it's going to be Browns fault. He's clearly done everything he can to get this kid to Miami, he's been all over him for over a year now. He had him in the bag and never let up. Obviously something sketchy happen if he's now prepared to choose the sorry *** Terps.
His fault for not having a back up

His fault yes...BUT sometimes there is a kid you are 100% sure about...The way you are with all the 100% that do commit. And then that kid shocks the **** out of you and does unthinkable.

But I can excuse Brown this once because it's obvious he thought kid was not just a lean, but a lock (I think the kid thought he was a lock too)...
A. If it comes a pattern with Brown, then obv it's a prob
B. They are following AJ Davis and may have interest there all of a sudden
C. RB is a need--yes. BUT it is not a dire need the way OL, WR, CB are this cycle...I hate having to trust Burns as a 4...But we have a solid top 2, choc as the 3 if he doesn't get past by Burns, and then I think you will see a Dallas or Mullins type as the emergency at 5 if multiple injuries happen. (DeeJay coming in at 205 supposedly?). Again that's just a hypothetical
Just sounds like you're rationalizing a recruiting failure.

it goes down as a ***** up but could it have been avoided?? the only thing they could or should have done is to have had another comparable prospect teed up and ready and then they could have told one to commit or lose the spot.

Only recruiting (and missing on) one player at a position of need? Yes, that is an avoidable '***** up'.

There were a lot of good vibes with us and Jeudy! Until Maryland insiders flip their CBs from Miami to Maryland I am going to remain confident.

They recruited 2 guys, and have already signed one.

Maybe part of the sell was "You're the guy we want, we aren't taking any other RB's besides you and Burns." Or if it wasn't and if he had another kid lined up who knows if we don't hear in October "Miami is recruiting a lot of RB's I'm not sure where I'd fit in down there. Coach Durkin is telling me that I am going to be the feature back in this class."

Travis Rudolph got ****ed because the position on his name tag was wrong. Didn't offer the kid the second after he slid out of his mother? Didn't offer early enough. Offered him when he was still in the womb? You're putting too much pressure on them. It's hard to always be right when you're dealing with teenagers.

The guy that hasn't played in two years? K

Alex Collins...in our favor. Pressured to stay home, but makes a decision to fly the coupe. My gut. I think he did this for his family, but at the end of the day, he follows his football heart and put on the U on the side of the helmet. Too much momentum in our way with elite players wanting to come here and I'm sure DeeJay is behing the scenes hollarin at him.

Facts are facts, friend. Your analysis was wrong.

Not the most timely tweet from our guy...

Welp. Could just be building suspense but I'm officially flaccid.

Why the **** would any one think Ford's tweet has anything to do with McFarland? It doesn't make any sense. It obviously is referring to his teammate Jordan Wright, whom is committed to Kentucky and is rumored to possibly be visiting Miami this weekend

In case anyone (most everyone) hasn't listened to Ariz's podcast, Maryland coaches made McFarland guilty at the meeting. He put the commitment off. Pete still thinks it will be Miami, but really not too confident. Anything can happen.
