It's like 10 miles to the heart of DC. It's on the DC Metro line. It's in the DC metropolitan area, and not like Ft. Lauderdale is for Miami.

We are, I know what you are doing, I was just playin. But, It's in the DC metro area, not Baltimore. Try the google maps during rush hour. It'll change to 6 hours.

You've never been to the area and you don't really know what you're talking about. The traffic up here is the worse. You're not getting to UMDs campus from in the city in 40 minutes. I'm up there all the time, went to school outside the city, and know the area well.

All of Maryland is basically a suburb of D.C.

Only MOCO and PG county are burbs of DC. The rest come from the VA side of the river.

By far the most alarming/concerning part about this situation is the radio silence from Pete. If he's got nothing that means his sources within the program are iced out by the McFarlands or its not good news so they're not saying anything. No bueno IMO.

Him moving his decision he set almost a month ago at the 11th hour is 'news', which was reported - just not by Pete. We don't have news beyond that at this point.

This implies he knew the decision was going to be moved, etc etc. Whatever the assumptions and info was prior to last night changed when he announced he was moving his decision back post Maryland in-home. I'm not saying he's gone, but you also can't assume everything is status quo.

3/4 of DC is bad. The only part ppl visit in DC is NW DC. Considering that, Maryland is about a 20-30 min car ride east of NE DC.... which is a bad area. That area around the Maryland campus is miserable if you're not a college student satisfied with **** bars and restaurants.

All of Maryland is basically a suburb of D.C.

Except most of the state which isn't

47% of the working population of Maryland commutes to D.C. for work according to the last Census. So my statement was inaccurate but it's still a huge number commuting.

Guys I don't think the crime rate of either city is going make any difference in his recruitment.
