MacFarland to Maryland!

I was stoked for today to start the influx of talent into the UM roster and this is absolutely a **** in the punch bowl - after all of this time it seems like Under Armour, er I mean Maryland was able to create some doubt in the young man's mind.

Like people said already - I am hoping this is the Jeudy situation in reverse, and Brown gets to go close (again).

This NEVER pans out like you think.

Rarely do we land 4 studs at a skill position where there can only be one Alpha dog. Not happening. I'd take two...but 4? Not happening.
 
He is seeing Thomas Brown today .We get the last word . Its Miami in the best football conference against Maryland a lower rung team in a so so conference .I like our chances here.

because you want kids that are suppose to be here . . . follow your faith and if it's meant to lead you to UM than great, if not, don't come . . . if your not grounded in faith you won't understand

Everyone who followed high school recruiting knew the kid was a beast, his supporting cast just sucked at MD. Should have been a 2nd rounder. Choosing Maryland over us cost that kid millions.

Diggs went the same year as Dorsett, Dorsett went in the first, Diggs the fifth.

I usually assume the worst in these types of situations but for whatever reason I'm not worried. I still think he's a Cane. Unless of course he's getting a huge duffel bag of UnderArmour money.

We have no choice. We will have one running back on roster after next season. I don't count burns.

Let's hope it's a "make sure it's the right place" decision like Castro-Fields made last week.....on the flip side...I can see Marylands staff telling them.....we're your home team give it more thought "please" take more days to decide..In the mean time take this bag....relax think it over.....What else could it be?

He is gone. They pulled the Ace that they were hoping not to have to pull. Maryland went to the Big 10 and cannot compete. After what happened last year, they became desperate. We move on...
 
It's going to be Maryland. Tough decision for the kid. Some kids troll and showboat but this kid is genuinely going through an agonizing decision making process. Best of luck to him wherever he goes but I think there's too much hometown pressure here.

Knowing Sperman, he probably set that whole visit doubt up. Now, before anyone can debunk his story, tweets the visit is on.
 
Snooped around maryland boards and left happy.

From my understanding, last night the MD staff put one final full court press and tried to guilt him into staying home. Anthony got anxious and guilty about his decision and really stressed so his dad recommended he push it another 48 hours so his son would calm down.

Whoever says his dad is pro-MD is lying. The dad loves Brown and trusts Rick, I think he just wanted his son to be more calm before the decision.

FWIW, very little people on MD boards believe anything will change, he still comin' here.
