Honestly, he was great with Maryland. The only problem was that he was injured a lot, not Maryland's fault.

who the **** is george brown? its thomas brown you moron. brown has the closest relationship w Mac. let the coaches do what they do. brown coached up Melvin gordon and Nick Chubb in his last two stops.

For months, whenever the two referenced recruiting, both Richt and Brown have mentioned that the staff has two runningbacks committed. Burns and (presumably) McFarland. As you said, it's obvious he has been committed to Miami for a while now.

Hoping he and his family simply were caught up in the emotions of a good visit with the Maryland staff, pushed back the commitment date, but ultimately come back to their senses and stick with the program he has been leaning heavily toward for some time.

All of that being said, The Franchise nailed it - this would be a spectacular failure on the part of Brown if Maryland tops Miami for McFarland. Even Rumph would be disgusted. McFarland has been Brown's top priority since he stepped foot on the Miami campus and we need him badly with attrition. Losing him to a bottom of the barrel program like Maryland would be pitiful.

Exactly how long after Pete's "they comin'" post last night did McFarland **** in our Cheerios? Did we get a half hour of ecstasy before McFarland choke fcked us? It's crazy being a UM fan these days.

this would be a huge lost. still think its miami but starting to get alil concerned.
