Yeah, that’s my point. Lot of guys with hype, and I’m sure there are examples to the contrary, but I want my QB to be able to carry a team to wins in high school. Nickel finished his career 38-6 playing in either Georgia’s highest or second highest classification (re-classifications this year). When you combine that with actual ability, I feel good about it.
Garcia may have been the only one that won something meaningful in high school since Kaaya and there were some other red flags there lol. But none of them at nearly the consistency and against the same kind of competition as Nickel.
And agree on Rosier. I went to high school near where he did and I talked to a guy a couple years behind me that played them when he committed to Miami. “He sucks” were the exact words. Love what he did in 2017 but… yeah.
