Looks like Matthew Thomas isn't going to USC

Matthew Thomas was suppose to be a crown jewel for our class, the the D that was one of the worst in the country. his commitment to FSU wasn't just the fact he didn't pick us, he picked our rival and will most likely face off against our guys.

We saw what he did in the under armor game.

Him going to USC for Miami
1. it gets him far away from us
2. puts a nice hurdle between miami high schools and FSU

Him going to USC for FSU
1. FSU is in the spotlight for a rapist and a 5star commit who doesn't want any part of FSU
2. They counted MT and made plans around it now they have to reshuffle
3. they lost out on a big play maker.

it is a big deal and it is bad for FSU..it wont 'be the end of FSU but it is nice kick in the nuts to them!

Kiffin is 100% guaranteed to get fired this year. USC will be lucky to win 3 or 4 games. They have zero depth, zero experience, and of course a klutz for a head coach. UCLA gonna run that town for a couple of years.

This situation = disaster

Hopefully this does not turn into some trend where players sign with one school, then decide to go somewhere else. It's great to see FSU suffer, but I don't like these entitled HS players who think they can do whatever.

As big of a talent as MT is (which seems to future 1st round type), the kid's got bust written all over him. He definitely has the athletic talent, but seems way short in the brains department.

When the best defensive player in the country signs with you and then enrolls somewhere else, it's devastating. This guy is a Patrick Peterson-type talent and will haunt FSU the same way Peterson has haunted us.

I see where you coming from you and I just disagree on how good Thomas is going to be. I dont even think he was the best defensive player in the state last year. Plus you dont want a kid that doesnt want to be there

I could understand you possibly making the case that Hargreaves was a better defensive player, but in terms of talent and how they impact a game. Thomas is leagues beyond everyone in Florida in the way he impacts games, guy is making every single play

Well it matters what you project him to if he is a SAM then I have a long list of players that I think will have more productive college careers from the state of Florida. If you think he is a hybrid DE/OLB you might have a case. I dont value the SAM backer that much. I would put DE DT CB over that positon

From those tweets it doesn't sound like MT6 has totally walked away from fsu. "A separate source said the No. 6 overall recruit has not clearly told FSU he will not play there & that family conflict and outside influences are affecting the situation" Like before, we have time between now and when this ends. IF he decides to go and If they do not release him from hie LOI, I wouldn't be surprised to see him choose a school other than USC. If the kid has to sit out a year, he's not going somewhere that he can't personally shove it up jimbo's ****. Just my opinion BUT if someone's kicking me in the balls, i'm stabbing them in the face. This will get worse for fsu before it's over, if jumbo doesn't release him. IMHO A LOT OF IF's.....

See Jeff Luc...he was devastating to FSU as well...and Adrian McPherson and and and......how embarrassing for his HS coaches setting him up for FSU then this to happen.....
