Probably not. There’s more to football than being really, really fast in a straight line.
People forget that Smith actually flashed ability here, scoring on kick returns and the like. CJ was never able to get loose and showed no balance or cutting ability. It wasn’t like Dawson didn’t try, but it’s obvious that CJ is limited in regards to his route tree.

I wish the young man well, but don’t be shocked if he’s a gadget player there.

As long as it wasnt FSU or UF I wish him well.. Hope he finds a role and balls out.. Hopefully he can run track too, his 200m times were really REALLY good.. Would like to see him hit the track in college but I know that can be tough in this scenario.

Safe to say most of us in here got this right on Murphy. This is why stats can lie to your face. Murphy had good numbers but wasn't a good QB on the field. Duke cut down his NIL and he bounced out.
