Look to the Transfer Portal: Discussion thread

Rutherford is better anyway.

Dudes a problem inside. He’s going to eat two blockers most plays. Watch his film and don’t look at stats. He makes everyone better the moment he steps on the field. Bain needs this.

Not just that, but will be given every opportunity to get up the field and attack in a 4 man front. IF he signs, i'd guess he puts up 3-5 sacks next year as well from the 1 tech spot.

Understood, but i think what I'm trying to relay to you, is that user donations would go up significantly if there was more control for the donating person to control their money.

Exhibit A, in your thread of the Miami WR. A poster is questioning what are they using his donations for. I'm willing to bet, if he could have more control over that, he would up his donation amount.

It's really just a thought to increase our funds. I wasn't trying to attack the teams approach to the portal.

I just think, and it makes sense to me, ppl would donate more of their own hard earned money if they knew where it was going specifically.
I get what you're saying. I think it just becomes unwieldy administratively to "earmark" fan funds. I can ask, though.

My main point is that the big money is spent on big players. When we get smaller targets, they usually get paid less. The majority of our funds this year will go to the top few players. Last year, it was Cam Ward, Damien Martinez, Simeon Barrow, etc.

If we going back to that 2 gap nonsense I’d understand but in a 4-3 defense idk. A guy with the size of barrow is more effective imo
In a 40 front you still have one person taking on blockers
That's what an NT is.

I was just making a joke about the astronomical-game changing amount of money($25) a month i donate.

It’s a fantastic feature idea. Lets the subscribers know where the money is going and give them some control over the money. We have revolutionized this game so many times including NIL, this would be another. It’s like picking and investing in stocks. Obviously a feature where the money is invested at the staff’s behest would also be an option. But as you stated, this would be a shrewd way of raising more money and fans being able to watch their returns on Saturdays.

Speaking for myself I'd be alot more inclined if I knew we were prioritizing Jerome Myles over Vernell Brown.

I think the more blunt response is it's a terrible idea.
no one wants to say this but speaking with some limited finance experience in political fundraising, it would be administratively near impossible and people are dip****s when it comes to how they think their money should be spent.

We would be throwing money at weird south florida favorites every cycle

the problem is most people are stupid and most know little to nothing about football.

Can you talk to canes connection and have them make a feature where you can donate a certain amount for a specific player. If that player isn't signed, ppl get a refund.

Ppl arent trying to waste money on Marley cooks and Thomas Gores anymore. Keeshawn Silver tho? I'm sure ppl would drop big money for.

Im actually serious about this.
nothing about this comment is serious
