Well we do what we can, even in losses putting up near 500 yards. And through 7 games #10 in the nation. Glad we got Ny Carr. Just hope JJ doesnt go to FSU, but i have a feeling he might. FSU is gonna lose alot of players. Almost their whole **** team.

That’s what I’ve been saying the whole time. Miami has hit every “goal” that the camp has set.

Yet the interest isn’t there.

He was never coming.

I knew once his dad said we needed to have a good bowl game it was some bull**** :pgdead:

Elite offense, improved record. These south Florida divas will come with any excuse

But it shouldn’t be too surprising. When FSU is doing good, these bandwagoners done here always choose them. Been happening forever
Facts. We're always judged by a completely different standard no matter what. This is why I'm glad we are focusing on national recruiting.

We are a week removed from 2 straight brutal losses and our “season looking lost”. If we continue the momentum and finish strong with 9/10 wins the recruiting updates will look much better.

Last year was tough for Mario to pull off some of those late surprise flips considering our record. Season finishes strong, I think Mario on the trail late will be scary

Having a chance at Ellis is a bigger deal to me than not having a chance at JS.

We'll be fine at WR. Sucks missing on Smith but we have 3 really good WRs committed.

You don't need an elite WR to win in college football.

An elite shut down CB is a bigger advantage.

We can go undefeated with Colby Young, Xavier Restrepo, and Jacolby George. A few 3* kids and a JUCO transfer.

We're upgrading there big time with Trader, Chance, and Carr.

Robinson is a bigger want and need in my opinion. Especially right now with our CBs committed.
Elite shutdown cb is great to have but it’s nowhere near as impactful as a great receiver lol this is just cope

But i do agree with our class and cb recruiting ellis could be a more important get currently

Trader and Carr might not be JS but they aint no ham on rye either. Lets not get too carried away. With this offensive scheme, and the WRs we have coming back (Xman and George)..AND with the light coming on for Brashard Smith..Trader and Carr will do just fine. We will be fine. JS is a superstud but it is what it is.

I absolutely agree that getting Ellis is more impactful. Couch, JDavis and DevBrown are gone. And we go into next season with just Porter Jr and Dam Brown that we can truly rely on. Ellis basically has a starting spot waiting for him if he wants it. Day 1. Imagine if FSU does get JS..****, we gonna need an elite CB to be able to hang with that dude for the next 3 years anyway. LOL.

He could have EASILY came out after the Clemson game and said, "Yeah, I am firmly commited to UGA still. Nothing has changed." But he hasnt. So there is still a glimmer of hope.

I agree. I was just saying a great wr is much more impactful than a great cb.

But i agree getting willis is probably more important currently because wr recruiting isn’t a struggle like cb recruiting is..Like i don’t even know who the targets are for cb recruiting besides ellis

Think that would be the worst case scenario if they had JS, McCoy and Hykeem. Never thought I'd be hoping OSU kept a commit.

Agree, we need an alpha bluechip corner and Robinson starts day 1 if he flips

Winning and wrs/offense. Probably crazy nil too.. this is all me just guessing idk **** lol
I’m sure FSU is probably selling the **** out of Coleman’s year and being the unquestioned guy next year. For all the issues we have our WR future offers more potential roadblocks. We could say it all we want but realistically Young, Restrepo and George all probably are coming back. That’s my mental gymnastics at least.

The kid probably never wanted to come here and figured we’d fall flat on our face offensively making his decision easier.

I think it's arguable which can be more impactful.
But definitely a CB for this recruiting class.

There are many that would disagree ... even given the changes in the game.

I wish I shared your optimism. I’m very pessimistic that Kirby loses arguably the best player in the country, especially a defensive guy to us.

It can be but more outside factors are contingent on the WR being impactful. Bad line play or QB play can render even the best WR useless. Look at Davante Adams in LV currently.

A lockdown CB does not need nearly as much to be impactful. Obviously a good pass rush helps, but if you’re talking about a put the CB on a island and follow the WR1 everywhere type, less needs to go right for their impact to be felt.

Miami could win the **** Cotton Bowl and the next excuse would be “yeah but if Arch Manning isn’t transferring to UM we’ll have to look elsewhere”

You tend to be one of the bigger alarmists on this site, which is saying quite a bit
You read something different? Ellis news is obviously very promising but you’re stealing him from Georgia which is arguably the toughest team to steal a recruit from. And he’s the #1 overall player so it’s not exactly slipping under their radar his importance.

The changes in the game is why I would say a great wr is more important than ever. They change games, i could just not target your great corner lol, he still has to play within the scheme.

I can move my wr anywhere ,outside, slot, backfield etc and just dictate what matchup i want to exploit.

For example are u taking the best corner in the league over tyreek hill or justin Jefferson? Are u taking the best corner in cfb over nabers or marvin harrison jr? If u are we just see impact differently
