Weird flex... but alrightI’ll just get back to my desk at Palmetto and watch y’all do your thing
They don't bring in Jose after Andy commits to drop Andy later. I know he's a kicker, but...****. I just don't see it.
Only ppl getting dropped are curtis and collins. Curtis is a rail thin dude who we are recruiting to play corner when he has barely played it and we already have our small cb this cycle in tim burns at wr we have brashard smith he is just as fast and better at getting open who is most likely coming to us. Curtis spot should go to a true cb. Collins I've covered a bunch of times he just flat out plays with no heartOn the dropping kids front, for the first time in a long time I don’t see any glaring weaknesses in our class other than Collins who I don’t count anyway.
The lowly rated kids:
Borregales - if we drop him I’ll be truly ****ed, we need a ******* kicker we don’t have to worry about
Curtis - people complain we lack explosion and athleticism in the return game and at corner, then we sign this kid up and people want to drop him. **** that, give me the speed.
Brantley - stud, leader of the class.
Troutman - underrated, reminds me of Pink but maybe faster, absolute floor is special teams killer and rotation linebacker if he stays healthy.
Johnson / Hammett - these are the types we need to build this defense, local guys that bring the thunder
Ahhhh - I see - well if nothing can be worked out, at least for a season - then he gets his scholarship. He has earned it but just trying to think of ways UM can get creative if numbers become an issue. @Cribby Has insinuated this as a possibility as well.Tuition only. The rest ain't cheap, but might be do-able with Bright Futures/Prepaid College funds, etc.

Boy ain’t that the truth. Those ladies run a 4.25 (non wind aided) when the money bricks come out. That’s usually when it’s time for me to exit, oooorrrr, replenish the money I spent when the big spenders make it rain.2 players come to mind. Harris and Ingraham. All were cane locks allegedly and took one trip to bama and it changed faster than a stripper jumping out of your lap when rapper shows up at the club.
There is a lot of truth in what you're saying here. 2022 is stacked with edge rushers. i would keep my edge rush a little thin and show them the depth chart, but there is a good chance we could lose 2 edges this year as well. It's a risk, but could allow to play with the numbers.drop Collins for Taylor. Thats us at 19 spots, 6 spots left as a few guys have said the staff wants to take a full 25.
Lock up RB2/WR Brashard Smith and CB Markevious Brown
Move Hammett to the 2nd DE spot (meaning not taking Thomas Davis) and take Chase Smith or TLewis as the 3rd LB
Then shoot our shot for Milroe or Garcia at QB
Then shoot our shot for Leigh or Tate at OT
Then shoot our shot for Marshall at CB. If he says it's Bama, then grab Divaad here.
I think Brown is odd man out if Marshall wants inLT, Brashard and Markevious Brown? Then go all out for Marshall, elite OT and an elite QB?
Can’t imagine we wouldn’t take Brown. A CB class of Marshall, Burns, Brown would be elite and make everybody forget about the high profile misses at the position recently. We would be loaded at CB and S for years.I think Brown is odd man out if Marshall wants in

Cant remember where I saw it, but they mention UM taking 25 a while ago....I just thought it was a typo.Just spitballing , Toc and I have been trying to figure this out in pm, they think they can possibly get 25, how is it ?
Yeah, Cribby and I have PM'd about this possibility.
I want to be optimistic. It is POSSIBLE. If it is truly being considered, I'd be willing to bet that conversations have ALREADY transpired.
Think about it this way. Mr. Ishmael has FIVE KIDS. I don't know if Jabari is the only one who is/will be a 4-star football talent, but I would certainly imagine that the Ishmael family is grateful to be able to be able to send FIVE KIDS to UM for free (assuming, of course, that the kids WANT to go to UM). Three years ago, if Mr. Ishmael had no idea whether Jabari would ever be good enough to get a D-1 football scholarship, I could imagine that the family would definitely be planning to use tuition remission to put Jabari through college.
Three years later, there are more options, for sure. So if tuition remission is still on the table, there are still a few conversations to be held as to room & board, books, and other fees. Hey, maybe Jabari can rush a fraternity and move into a house as a freshman.
That is all. Let's not put all our eggs in the "tuition remission" basket. Let's not assume we know everything about what the Ishmaels want to do here. Let's just be happy if it happens this way.

Don’t know if the Divine 9 has frat houses on campus. But I see the creativity.Yeah, Cribby and I have PM'd about this possibility.
