Hiring highsmith is not going to solve the problem of our team going through the motions once we lose a game to UF or FSU and going on multiple game losing streaks for example

Correct. It doesn’t solve anything. But, it’s the start of getting leadership in place. I’ve said for years and years that our problem is a complete lack of leadership at all levels. Alonzo moves the needle significantly on fixing that.

It's been official for over a week at this point. Theyve just been waiting for the nfl season to end. He will complete control over the football program and all decisions regarding football will go through him not flake anymore. Manny will report directly to highsmith. Any staff move will be made with highsmiths approval only so no more enos or stubbledick hires with him in charge
