My theory is that Mario has been aggressively pursuing big fish like Mateer, and that’s why we haven’t settled on a guy like Mendoza yet.

We’re still going after larger fish, so there’s not a need to pull the trigger on guys like Drones just yet.

I may or may not have sources.

that's fair - Mario's qb recruiting has been atrocious

but he made a complete philosophy shift when hiring Dawson, a shift that many on here didn't think he would - so I think it's fair to question whether his past recruiting in arroyo's offense really translates to what him and Dawson are doing

because Nickel looks legit, and I'm not saying that just because we got him

I’d put the chance Miami couldn’t sway Drones to transfer if we wanted him to at about 1%. So, the coaches must have another feasible target whom they prefer.

Personally I think it's more like this for the staff:
- only gonna cheat if shes super hot compared to what I think is my pretty attractive, smart loyal wife at home because of the risk- saw the hot chick, made the move, flashed the cash and got the Heisman when she saw her ex there
- couple of pretty hots looked my way but said nah, my girl better and though nice, not worth her leaving me
- got all ready for date night with my wife a few days later after being on the road and then remembered she wasn't 22 anymore but was just old and fatter and all my friends saw it at the party
- I realized almost everyone else is hotter, so I kept swiping right hoping for anything I could pick up without a hernia

Drones isn't a runner, he is an athlete playing the QB position. You all will be crying the blues if he was Miami's QB when he would struggle to complete intermediate passes inside the numbers.

lets just leave Jacurri and Emory out of this haha. IMO a notch ahead of DJU because of his athletic ability. They both struggle as passers in the same way, bad timing and inaccurate between the numbers.

We need a dedicated Qb coach. Pretty clear Dawson spent the majority of his time with Cam or alone in his office inboxing onyfan models.
