King Hartley tweet

New State of Miami: fence goes from Jax, down I 4 corridor to Tampa and down to both coast to Keys to be extended North into parts of GA to be announced later.

Searles listed as mediocre is trolling. Plain old trolling.

It's actually not.

Ok i'll play with this veteran troll.

You're not giving Searles credit for getting highly rated kids like Donaldson, Herbert, Reed, and Scaife? Or for scooping up under the radar kids like Gaynor or Hillery?

While those were all very solid gets, none of them were elite exterior OL prospects. Herbert was the closest to it and he was a low 4 star.

The LT spot has been a major issue since Flowers left and Searles hasn't done anything to address it. That, in my mind, make him a mediocre recruiter.

The fact that Hartley has been working hard on Surge 19 must mean good things about how the staff feels about Storm 18

All coaches are recruiting '19 guys. Just in the last couple of weeks, Urban Meyer, Nick Saban, and Kirby Smart have been in my hometown roaming around.

Well that one massive upgrade from Golden running around begging plan D guys to commit. We are traveling in the class of schools we will be knock off our mountain soon.

Hartley may be our best recruiter.

Love that guy.

How would you "Currently" rank them?

Rather thank ranking them I'll put them in tiers.

"Elite" - Hartley, M Richt, Dugans

"Solid" - Rumph, Brown, Banda

"Mediocre" - Searels, Diaz

"Needs Improvement" - Kool

"Incomplete" - J Richt

J Richt has landed all 3 of his targets up to this point, dude is a sniper and if he gets the Johnson kid out of Oregon he probably deserves top billing.

In my opinion it is. Anybody who lands Herbert, Scaife, Reed, & Donaldon in 2 years is better then mediocre. Simple as that.

What’s funny is Pete is saying Hillery is ahead of Herbert at this point. Hillery was scout POY over Herbert and others.

Part of recruiting is evaluating as well. If you fill the position with top notch players, you’re doing your job.

Yeah, he's elite in my book. Kinda wish they'd let him go after some other targets. Give him his own area.

The list buddy provided is pretty spot on, although I'd bump Searels up to solid. He becomes he elite when he lands the Neal's and Lucas' of the world next cycle.

Clarify, Doesn't mean you don't like them at all, just means that NPF is not visiting this year all. BTW, I think Donaldson ends up being All-A

Indeed. Searels was on Scaife from the get go. Fantastic early eval. Same with Kool and Nesta.

Kind of ridiculous to have Brown and Rumph on the same level. Brown brought in an elite RB haul with Lingard and Davis. Rumph needs to start closing on elite corners before we compare him to Brown.

Brown also didn't bring anyone in last year while Rumph brought in Bandy and Dean.

I'm not counting Burns, he was a Golden commit and we have no clue if he'll ever even play here.

I guess you could maybe move Searles up to the "solid" category.

I still want to see him land an elite T prospect.

Yeah bc those grow on trees. Probably less than a half-dozen true freshman every year start at LT at the P5 level and most only do bc they have to, not bc they should.

Even Leatherwood didn’t start this year, granted it’s Bama but still. That’s about as elite as it gets
