2025 Kellen Wiley Jr, LB/ATH - Armwood HS (Tampa, FL) offered

Just because they haven't proven it yet! doesn't mean there not ballers...

Oh I agree. My point is that the sky no one has locked down any position. If Wiley signs his LOI with us, especially if he is an early entry, he has every opportunity with no baked-in bias to earn a starting spot either as a first or second year.

Even if Alderman, Chase, Wes (and Bobby) stay, as long as he shows his ability this offseason, Wiley has as much a chance as anyone to be the heir apparent and first man in off the bench. There are very few decent programs with as much need for new starting-caliber talent at LB as Miami.

Hate to say I told you guys so but…

I know Tampa. I know Tampa people. I know based on high schools whose in it for the $$$ and who’s looking long term…if we do end up winning this battle, it isn’t because he loves Miami, it’s because we upped the green.

Also, if he doesnt get treated like royalty at whatever school he chooses($$$), he’s a 100% transfer. Mark it

Ok! I agree with that and by us having a potential special season coaches gotta go with the experience! Hopefully youngins' are watching and paying attention

Have we proven we're afraid to pay a recruit's NIL value if we believe he's worth it? Now, the second part about the kid's reasons and character, that certainly has to go into the equation of what we think the kid's intrinsic NIL value is. We don't need another TVD/Bama saga, and we want players who buy into the culture and team, not an FSU or Texas A&M situation.

What about Pringle? Same school right?

We're 10-1 with OJ as our starting QB, trotting out Lyle when the game was still on the line. Lofton has been in on game changing snaps often, too. Bain, Cici, Fletcher and Damari Brown were all freshman starters last year. I don't think our coaches are hung up on experience.

It would explain the lack of rotation at some spots! Not complaining at all.

Some of you are legit praying he goes elsewhere so you can complain and blame Mario.
You guys have no idea that some parents have actually viewed the board and not said anything and think this place is toxic.
No disrespect but what does this board have to do with anything? This place is the last place parents/kids base their decisions on. This place is absolutely toxic. So is every other board.

Lastly, no wants great players to go elsewhere for the sake of blaming Mario. Cut it out

yea i dont recall any recruit signing with us
who had family members who posted on here
that alone was why I never expected him to come
I'm honestly not mad. I understand if they're offering crazy money and Texas is winning games too it's hard to pass on. Texas a decent school too. At least he's not going to UF or FSU. Just puts pressure on the Alford flip.

Yeah, I see that. Along the OL, I think Mirabalio love unit continuity so they don't mess with rotation until injury forces them to. Other than that, I think Guidry would have subbed in a lot more guys if we weren't so flustered all the time in our alignments. He hasn't even gotten the base starters settled the whole season, so that's really messed up rotations. Weird season defensively. But in general, I think the staff is wide open to young players as starters or rotating in outside of the OL.
