Just commit, sign, and take the visit. The staff kind of screwed up the visit planning, but the team hasn't been in contention this late in the season for years. The stretch run to the playoffs is new to them too.

At the end of the day, it seems like the staff made it clear that it's not an either/or situation with your son and Alford. They value and want both very much.
 
@Kellen Sr after all this is said and done, regardless of where he ends up, it'd be fantastic if you gave some insight into recruiting from a father's perspective. We always hear stories and rumors about the process, but just the last few hours has been enlightening about how you heard it from your son and then spoke with Dennis.
 
I'd take this as a massive complement. Yeah its a bit last minute but this staff is relentless recruiting. They are basically telling you we want as much focus as possible on big time recruits like your son when they visit. This weekend would not be the true recruiting experience.
 
Real talk.. I often wonder if some of yall are actually fans of this team.. We have a parent of a recruit, a really good one at that, that we have legit shot with and some of yall doing everything in yall power to turn the recruits father off..

Too many of yall I can tell are real life weirdo’s and this place is where yall choose to act out

Cold front coming this weekend too. I know the family is from Florida. But better to get the full sofla experience when the weather is perfect.

They truly arent happy unless they are unhappy.

Yes you can criticize, critique, make suggestions, etc. But there are some on here who are 100% eager for every error; whether its the GT loss, getting the #8 class instead of the #4. Get the # 185 player instead of the 108...but then in another thread complaining about ranking websites.

After 20 years of this I'm ready to let this play out based on the progress through 2 years and 10 games. If we continue to fade this year and then get off to a slow start next year or take a step back to 8-4 then there is some concern. But to many schools just keep running coaches out and it typically doesnt help.

Whoa amigo. I’m not certain if you are aware but the cricket is not a topic to treat lightly. The cricket has special meaning in the Chinese lunar calendar for starters. Here’s a little factoid to get your little moo goo gai pan juices going. Besides being a symbol of good luck, generations of Chinese citizens revere the cricket is as a symbol of prosperity, wealth, and abundance.

If I may suggest that you use a different symbol… or even your words in the future to express the silence you perceive from other humans, that will convey the message you wish directly while leaving Chinese cultural symbols to those who cherish them properly and with the utmost and proper care. And that will make you a diverse, equitable and inclusive humanoid whose fine example we all can admire.

I bid you adieu and may your stockings overflow with mucho naches this holiday season, if I can borrow some Spanish and Yiddish to convey my wishtoids to you and yours, he/his, she/hers.
