Thomas took an official visit to USC last weekend. That visit was more of a fun trip or at least that's the impression we got from the Thomas camp. It's still an in-state battle with Miami/FSU with the Noles still holding the upper hand as of today. Thomas called the FSU staff at least three times last week, once right before he boarded a plane for Los Angeles. Thursday's news is probably the worst news FSU fans could hear when it comes to Thomas' recruitment. Thomas has the closest bond with Coley and Coley had built such a tight relationship with Thomas' ,other that really put FSU in good position. Now I would flip flop the numbers with Miami. Canes will be really tough to beat from this point forward.

Last weekend, one of the top remaining targets for FSU took an official visit to Miami. That visit went very well according to his father. The family felt comfortable with their meeting with Al Golden and Kirkland had fun around the players. FSU was sitting in a good position before James Coley took the job to Miami. Now I would flip-flop things with Miami in the lead and FSU trying to play catch up thanks to Thursday's news. Good news for FSU is, if any, that Kirkland has a good bond with Rick Trickett. But at this point I don't see that being enough as I expect him to end up in Coral Gables.

Miami has made a push to get an official visit, but Coley has a strong relationship with Lawrence Dawsey. Also, Coley and his Mom are sold on Fisher - that looks like the difference at this stage. James Coley going to Miami should not effect Stacy much since Dawsey is the main recruiter and before him it was Eddie Gran. Coley is expected to take an official visit to South Florida this weekend.

Bryant was originally planned to visit South Carolina last weekend then Miami, but decided on visiting the Canes. The visit went well and he had fun, but at the end of the day, there's no real indication of a change of favorites or anything close to it. In fact, I would say the 'Canes are probably third for the services of Bryant with the Gamecocks being second. Odell Haggins is expected to visit with Bryant again this week. While he grew up a fan of the Canes, the Coley news won't affect Bryant's recruitment that much. Odell Haggins has been the main recruiter from the start.

Someone should tweet at them and post on warchant the pic of stacey throwing up the U at last nights game. That should just drive that "fear spear" a ittle deeper into their hearts....

Just shows how much smarter Al Golden is than Jimbo Fisher. He has assembled what might be the best staff in the State of Florida and they know that they can win championships by recruiting south Florida. There are more NFL players from S Florida than anywhere in the country. Bowden knew that and stole some of the best. Remember how physically dominant those Coker teams were? S Florida talent. Cristobal and Coley will have a party down there while we are trying to steal one or two guys from Alabama and Georgia every year. Golden is a smart man. And they will be a very good football team. Fisher will allow us to only be mediocre.

'Noles making it sound like we are begging for a visit. Stacy already took his official visit and if it wasn't for McDonald bolting for Arky, he would be committed to Miami. I like our chances with Coley and Mario reeling him in.
