KC Concepcion

And missed the playoffs.

In 11 seasons without Brady, he's made the playoffs twice. That's a huge sample size, and it's terrible.

His performance without Brady is, objectively, worse than Dave Wannstedt.
Then ouch, because Cam Ward is our Brady and Mario didn’t make the playoffs with or without. I’m hoping for more transparency about the constraints that deliver these, rather trifling, results.

If the argument is Belichick or Mario, then, yes, I'd agree Belichick is a better football coach.

Luckily, he's entering foreign territory as an old man stuck in his ways.

I’m not over impressed with this kid. To me, not a good route runner, not a WR, more of a gimmicky guy in open space. If we think this guy can replace X - gonna be very disappointed. Actually don’t think he signs with us.
KC has more talent than Brashard Smith.

Is he as polished a WR as X? Absolutely not.

Is he a gamebreaker weapon? Absolutely yes.

I saw NC St tape where he lined up in that double RB formation we implemented this year. He did wildcat. He did end arounds.

His route running isn't that bad either, he's sudden and quick. His route tree may be limited, but maybe that's what they asked of him.

I think BB is as smart as ever. I just think he’s a control freak and having your hands in everything is impossible at his age . It’s taxing to work those hours while going on from coaching , evaluating , drafting and building your team. He’s going to have to delegate responsibilities in UNC or that’ll end badly too.
He’ll have no issues getting his hands on some of the ladies around campus.

I don’t care how many Super Bowls Bill won and even if the NCAA somehow granted Brady another 4 years of college eligibility Belichick would never reach the pinnacle of his profession by coaching in 2* PAC 12 Championships….

He’s an all time great nfl coach who I agree is old and not in his world. I’d be surprised if he can pull conception from us (or from any of the other big boys). It’s a big risk for a guy who probably wants to be one and done (at most 2)

I came here for KC update and got BB debate?

Ftr, BB is great coach who had some very unlikely circumstances happen in his favor. Brady was an all timer (on opposite side of BB speciality)

Also don’t forget how many millions Brady gave up in salary so to ensure NE could sign best possible team around him (and especially on the defensive side).

Without Brady and his approach/mindset to team building, unlikely we talking about BB in the same way.

I’ve heard about BB master classes in stopping Rams and Bills, but he also couldn’t stop Eli… twice.

It was as sure to happen as the sun rising in the east. Our defense was buns for most of this season, and when you can’t cover anyone and can’t sack the QB consistently, such results are predictable. Plus the GT coach routinely makes the meathead his byotch, so no surprise that we lost to them again.

lol I'll never forget it. That was really the season right there

Dmoney going after belicheck while we have Mario Cristobal as our Hc is certainly interesting.
IMHO, pointing out the differences between coaches is fair game, Mario has flaws, yes. But he also has Stamina to recruit HS/Portal and administer this program. While Bill, at 72, may have remarkable stamina to drop his load of Manchowder into his 20 something girlfriend, I think he’ll find the rigors of college coaching/recruiting may require a bit more energy. I mean ya just can’t bend over everybody to get what ya want. Just sayin’ 🙌🏽
