KC Concepcion

Brady in 2001 was nothing more than a game manager . They won with defense . I get it you’re a dolphins fan but the man has 8 super bowls and some of the best defenses ever. On top of that he drafted and developed Brady as a sixth rounder that all the league didn’t want. The Pat’s in 01 could’ve won a Super Bowl with Dilfer. Just look what BB did to the greatest show on turf . Then go look what he did to the 91 bills K gun offense. Two of the greatest defense game plans ever. Btw Brady was 18 to 12 td to int ratio lol. He was Dilferesque.
Game manager, you’re absolutely right - Brady MANAGED to always win the major moments to win the GAME.

Yes the Pats had some terrific defenses BUT you need a certified gamer/closer to get it done - and Brady was that. He’s universally known as the best to ever do it and that’s because he got it done time and time and time again when it mattered most.

First time ever disagreeing with the 🐐. I think ur missing the point here Cribster - and I’m not a Dolphins fan.

I thought he was a game manager till they gave him weapons and saw what he could really do. Then I was like yea even though I don’t like the pats I can’t ignore that Brady is next level anymore.

Some of y’all act like Brady was awesome from the beginning lol . Yes he became great but he was far from great in 01. They were a great defense that won strictly on D. Throwing for 170 yards a game and 1 td is the definition of a game manager.

And missed the playoffs.

In 11 seasons without Brady, he's made the playoffs twice. That's a huge sample size, and it's terrible.

His performance without Brady is, objectively, worse than Dave Wannstedt.
We’re gonna find out how much he can coach up because he’s definitely not lighting it on fire in recruiting

Doesn’t look like kids give a **** who he is or what he’s done

I think he just got the 2nd best LB out of the portal. Some kid out of Washington. I came across some tar heel video on YT. Don't know anything about it

That isn’t fair.. dude literally just got hired. Not saying you won’t be correct regardless. But, using this years class (so far) as an example I don’t think is right.

And it sounds like they are willing to spend big money for players.. so let’s see how it all plays out.

This kid been going a bit too HAM on his Tik Tok dances for my taste. Seems like a going to the highest bidder only consideration type of recruitment. I'm interested to see if we're dead set on portal WR # 2 being a pure slot or if we're open to another outside guy like Daniels.

Bills issue post Brady hasn't been the defense. He has drafted and developed good defensive players. He just can't see draft offensive players especially QB and wr. The guys he drafts are drafted too high and even up being bust. Also he can't hired a successful oc. Also let's point out the last Superbowl against the rams bill took the Chicago bears game plan that shut down the rams and implemented it and did the same. That defense won that Superbowl tom was superpar. Tom in Tampa was great but that team was stacked. The Superbowl they won was against a beat up Kansas City team. I don't like the narrative that Tom Brady was the sole reason they won all those Superbowl. I don't believe that. If that's the case then take Peyton manning in his prime and Tom in his prime swap them do you think Tom takes those Indy teams that has bad defenses to the Superbowl?

As a Pats fan, in '01 he was absolutely a game manager that showed flashes that he could be great. But that's where Tom Brady's game manager days ended, literally his first year. He lead the league in TD throws in '02 and was top 6 in passing yards. After '01 he was consistently top 5-10 in yards and TD's until they finally gave him weapons in '07. First year he gets weapons, he rewrites the history books.

Personally think we're good at WR.

With Daniels we also have:
Trader
Carr
Chance
Moore
Toney
Upshaw

Maybe Sam Brown

It'd be nice to get another known/reliable WR but we have a lot of very good young talent that should be able to step up. Beard is a good coach and doesn't rotate a ton so we really need 2 or 3 of these 6 to step up.
