Is it worth a one time fee of 8 million to be a nationally relevant program again? I say yes. Miami will make back that money on merchandise and ticket sales.

Whatever he asks, he is a once in a 20 year type player, and if he portaled to Miami, and Beck was healthy our win total would go up, we would probably be betting favorite or at least tied with Clemson in ACC, and would easily be a top 10 preseason team. If he came, and Miami won the ACC championship for first time in school history, and he helped Beck become a first round pick, what kind of value would you put on that?

I think JJ elevates us more than that. He elevates us to NC competitor imo assuming the defense improves to top 25 level.

I know Beck isn't Cam Ward but you give Beck JJ and a great OL and he may look just as good as Cam Ward. Beck with Ladd McConkey and Brock Bowers turned himself into a projected #1 overall pick and Heisman favorite.

Well for him, it's also about coming back home playing with his friends, trying to win a NC at 2 schools, and playing with a better proven QB aside from the money aspect. Of course Ohio State could match money for money.
