Not that field would be fired per say…but there were rumblings a while ago that he could be moved to an off-field, recruiting role. Not sure where that stands now and I’d be naïve to say anything of certainty, but it was mentioned at one point.

We may not know the behind the scenes of why it's taken so long, but you can't deny the negative effects keeping him has had on recruiting. All the good WRs from the portal are essentially gone. Maybe there's a second wave that a new OC can salvage, but Mario has put that position extremely behind the rest of the team.

I’m kinda shocked how bad Mario is with some stuff in regards to being a HC. He has fumbled this situation tremendously bad. Even if he has some “ home run” hire, this is killing our WR Portal possibilities. Mario is a mystery

Im guessing this isn’t it. You can have RE records hidden or held within a Trust or LLC so it’s not in the public record

i will take a shot:

1. there was a meeting of the coaches and corches.
2. some coaches are out recruiting and by implication they are "safe".
3. some corches are not recruiting and they are looking for jobs because they will be fired.
4. then the coaches started discussing who should be interviewed for OC in front of the corches who are looking for jobs without said corches having been informed that they will not be retained and should be looking for jobs.
