Idk...if I'm a HC that's making the decisions I wouldn't particularly care for one of expected leaders/upperclassmen speaking out on a coach I've decided to part ways with. Makes it appear that he's "upset" with the HC decision.

I can type in the search as well and put in “Lashlee.” I read through these. Not gonna blow up the board with screen shots but I’ll put a few out here from the threads.

A lot of run game heavy criticism, which again, I feel and many feel is justified but again, fire Lashlee, unless is resident mope president, @SinisterCane and a few others around here.

And guess what, LCE?!?!?!?

I was wrong about Gattis. I expected him, like many others here, to have a better run game than Lashlee. I was wrong. I’d say 99% of us were wrong there. It’s ok to be wrong.

You are wrong about people saying Lashlee was not a good OC. He could’ve been better with his run game. He was better with TVD than he was with King. He did a lot of good things. He struggled vs really good defenses.

So what if you were wrong or I was wrong as long as your opinion was based on the data at hand. If it turned out differently, so be it!!!

You’re right, I completely made it up, Lashlee was beloved on the board & no one wanted to see him go.

Stop it. Nobody is saying you are making things up. Of course some people wanted him gone.

What I am objecting to is that you are making the majority of the people here wanting Lashlee out.

If the majority of the people wanted him gone then I stand corrected and I am wrong. I don’t believe that to be the case. You had people here having issues with his offense.

There was never a fire party for Lashlee the way there is one for Gatass.

There is no mistake you bringing anything up man. Stop feeling that way or saying that. You aren’t a ******* victim!!

It’s all in good discussion. Yes, if I type “fire Lashlee” 10 pages come up in any threads.

10 pages is nothing because, guess what, not many people were for clamoring for him to get fired.

He had issues with running the ball and a few other things. No offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator, head coach will be flawless.

The narrative that everyone wanted Lashlee out, I don’t see it man. I don’t.

Anyone that feels differently can come in here and set the record straight.

There are literally thousands of posters on here. Pick any important topic at all and you can screenshot whatever point of view you want to highlight. Even if just 5% of posters had that view it still means there are many to chose from. That absolutely does not mean those posts reflect on or represent the majority.

The views on Lashlee were fair and more positive than negative. Most appreciated what he did but wanted more in the run game and in big games. Nothing at all like Gattis where 98% of the board wants him gone

There is D’Onofrio……..Enos and Gattis with the most wanted fired by fan base in the last decade.

A lot of people bemoaned that entire offseason about how we couldn’t convert short yardage & thus needed to shift the focus offensively to being more of a Power attack upfront... and then the 22 season happened.

But there’s no question that Lash towards the end of his run was severely hated on here, illogically so might I add.

The tide turned after the Bama game, this board doesn't really do "nuance". The Lashlee offense schemed people open (first time in forever) and was good enough to beat pretty much any team in the ACC, but his run game was crap and lead to an implosion anytime we played the big boys. Whether or not that would have changed with a recruiting maven like Mario giving him a legit OL we will never know.
